Can't wait to get these 2 scores into my cd player. Thank you so much!

I'm familiar with the Goldsmith and love it.

The Horner I've not heard a note...but it's my favorite period of his so I'm bound to be pleased.

Wonderful release.

And, while in PLENTY of time for Christmas, this music can be played all year long.

If you've heard Star Trek II and SWTWC, then you've heard a note.

Ordered right away - can't wait to get it - this was my only other Goldsmith grail.
Loved THE HOMECOMING since 1971 - a very simple and wonderful score.

Also looking forward to the early Horner work - I love the sweet sound of Americana on both scores - two thumbs up!!!

Thanks Lukas and FSM for this "Gift"...:-)

Just ordered it. Thanks so much for an early Horner score.

Lukas, it doesn't say on your description, but did Horner assemble Rascals & Robbers? Did he have anything to do with the release?

I really love the antiquity, or weathered, effect applied to the covers--gives it that old book look. Very nice touch.

As is apparent from several of my posts on FSM, I've longed for "The Homecoming" for decades. I'm just about to order it, and just couldn't be happier. I look forward to the Horner as a little extra, but I'd have paid full price for just the Goldsmith, no hesitation! And to anyone who is hesitating because the "Waltons" theme isn't part of this score, I swear the main theme of this one is even more delightful, honest and period-appropriate. Pure magic. (Plus the "Waltons" theme is available many places elsewhere).

As I mentioned in an earlier post, late for Christmas or early, this is one of those times I'm so happy to have waited so long because the payoff is that much sweeter! A since thank you to Lukas and the gang!

I like this pairing, did you also do a cover for "Rascals and Robbers"? Be interested in seeing that.

Edit: it's on the FSM page I see:

Perhaps I'm going blind but I can't find anything about the quantity on this release. Anyone know?

3,000. It's on the back cover art of the CD, visible in FSM's listing.

Lukas, yet another question--will the 3000 limitation be firm? Will there be a possibility of pressing more if successful?
