From Doug's Corner, speaking about re-releases:

"That spectacular limited CASINO ROYALE is coming out again soon. Heck, few things aren't."

So anyone who missed out on the Kritzerland can pick this one up, I suppose. Who do we think is re-issuing it? LLL?

Nope, not LLL. And if they're using the master that Mr. Nelson and I slaved over mightily, then we do hope that appropriate thank yous are included. If not, all power to them to do their own thing.

Most likely Quartet - but maybe even Perseverance in their new line.

I buy for the music and don't pick up extra copies to sell on ebay but limited edition clearly has no real meaning any more.

This is becoming a fiasco in terms of trade description.

It would be great if limited editions became a thing of the past. If you want it, buy it.

I'd guess either Quartet or Perseverance Re-Issue.

Great for those who missed the K run.

As to "limited editions;" I hope that term drops from all labels immediately. The note on the back of discs regards pressings can be dropped entirely, or can be changed to read:

"This innitial pressing is limited to [number] copies." or

"This pressing is limited to a maximum of 10,000 copies." or

"Our label's pressing of this title will be limited to a maxium of [number] copies."

This woud be truth in advertising/labeling.

Yes, we are.
We do not like to reveal anything until the CD is in the plant, but others do it for us ... Thanks Intrada!
And not is a reissue of the Varese or Kritzerland editions.

Is a 2-CD contains the following:

- CD1: Full Score in Mono, mixed to Stereo in Protools, and I must say the result is SPECTACULAR (63 minutes).
- CD2: Album version, from one copy of the Album Master in Stereo preserved in the vaults of Sony Music Spain in very good conditions (yes, the album was released in several European countries by RCA, now owned by Sony, and we were lucky that they still retained a copy).
- The package includes a book of 52 (yes, 52) pages in color

This release not happen until christmas or maybe the next year. Now, without the surprise, we have no hurry.

José, I hope you will soon overcome the irritation about the leaking of this news.

I am sure you'll get a lot of well-deserved love from fans for this, and that's what should remain. smile
I will definitely be buying this.

Well, geez, I already have the two Varese versions and the Kritzerland version....but this new one sounds very promising and possibly has the BEST audio of them all.

So, any idea on the price?

Technically, Doug did not leak Quartet's surprise. He mentioend the title, not the label. Quartet leaked the surprise.

It is one thing when Lukas says another label is working on "Sebastian", but doesn't say who; when MV implies somebody is working on "The Ten Commandments" but doesn't say who. It is another thing from them, or the party responsible, to give it away.

When, oh, when, will we get the news leaked that somebody is releasing Paul Glass' masterful score to "Bunny Lake is Missing"?

There are people here who know we are working for some time. It was speculated that would be us. Better say it now before people think we do a reissue of a previously released CD.

It is our most important release to date, and that is why we care so much.
And it has nothing to do with the Kritzerland CD, whose transfer from brilliant vinyl sound have become a cult-edition and a gem for those who love this soundtrack.
Both releases are complementary.
