With all of the wonderful releases this year so far, and even last year and the years previously, I just wanted to take a moment to express some gratitude for it all. These labels really work hard to bring us the releases we want and obsess over. I know we all have our opinions and views on what we wish would be on this CD or that one, or how the box should look or who writes the liner notes, but the important thing is the music. I am so grateful and appreciative to ALL of the labels for making my film music experience an awesome one. As a kid I never wouldve thought that I would have expanded scores of all of these things that I have now, and it just keeps getting better. So with that being said, to all of the labels, and to whomever Ive missed, a big sincere THANK YOU for all of your hard work. I really appreciate it and I just wanted you all to know that. Keep up the good work and please know that there are plenty of people who appreciate what you do, for your work makes a difference in alot of people's lives....mine included.

The more I learn about the ends and outs of the sdtk business the more I'm appreciative of these guys putting their money where their mouths are. If you don't like a particular cd release, by all means, put your money where your mouth is like these labels do.

I'm eternally grateful for all these boys and girls!!

Brilliantly worded Superman, and thank you. It's unfortunate that there aren't more threads out there like this that recognize the immeasurable hard work and dedication that these labels have to not only the music, but the fans as well.

FSM, Intrada, LaLa, and Varese, as far as music goes, you've all made my decade. Keep up the great work and you'll always have the wholehearted support of this entire community to appreciate you!!!

Ah-ha. When you were a kid.

That's why you forgot Kritzerland. wink

I agree, we're a spoiled rotten lot these days, we movie music fans. Great thanks to ALL the great labels.

(You too, Quartet.)

For me personally Varèse has been a bit of a downer lately.

However, my appreciate definitely goes towards Film Score Monthly, Intrada and La-La Land. With out these guys a lot of my favorite titles would not have had the complete releases that they do now.

With the three of you (FSM, LLL and Intrada) you've made this film score fan very happy over the last several years. Big kudos and thanks to all of you.

I'm glad I stumbled upon FSM's boards, and became acquainted with the likes of Film Score Monthly, La-La Land, and Intrada.

Not only has my soundtrack collection grown, but, as Drivingmissdaisy said, so has my knowledge of the soundtrack business!

Agree with you here. These four have presented us with a massive library that was never before available! I am just hoping Intrada, La-La Land and Varese can pick up some of the scores that FSM would have released since Lukas is closing the doors of the FSM label.

Agreed, but I want to add James Fitzgerald, who has been losing money on his labors of love making wonderful re-recordings, and Bruce Kimmel at Kritzerland too.

I think you mean James Fitzpatrick! smile I would also add John Morgan, William Stromberg, and the Tribute team to those already mentioned!

I will be eternally grateful for the AMAZING scores the Big 4 have bestowed upon us and I will continue supporting their tremendous efforts in the years to come. I will definitely miss FSM. I'd also like to give a shout out to some of the smaller guys like BSX and Perseverance. Many of their titles populate my collection as well and they deserve credit as such. Thank you guys, and keep up the great work!

All these years we miss out on some limited Intrada releases because they are limited to 1000pcs or 2000pcs, etc. We put off buying until our budget settles in weeks or months (sometimes years) and then only to find out it's gone and get a heart attack.

The way you go about it now ie. "available while quantities and interest remains" and then what more.....when the time comes you give us another notice to say the release will end in another 2 or 3 weeks time. It is just fantastic!!

This is just too dreamy for us to have this kind of label. You really have thought this out just to totally suit us.

Thank you very much Mr. Fake and the whole Intrada team!!

And while i'm at it I personally appreciate all the soundtrack effort or releases from
Kritzerland, Film Score Monthly, La-La Land, Tadlow, Buysoundtrax, Varese Sarabande or just about any other labels putting out soundtracks. We can't afford to lose them and hope they do very well.
