I was afraid it would go to Harry Gregson-Williams.

HGW is taking a time off, also perhaps James "Yuma" Mangold has something to do with the composer selection process. smile

Yay!

. . .is this the first time Mangold has worked with a composer twice?

Beltrami doing a Wolverine movie? This might be interesting!

Anyone else think that Beltrami looks like a thinner Vincent D'Onofrio?

NO. I have met Mr. Beltrami and he looks nothing like him. Beltrami is a MUCH more attractive man.

Brilliant news! Beltrami is one of my favourites and his previous Mangold score, 3:10 to Yuma, was one of his best in my opinion.

Great news! Hope that Beltrami makes something like Hellboy.

I still have to catch up buying a few other Beltrami scores, including 3:10 to Yuma, but i'm looknig forward to this. He's great. The Thing was ace, especially the alt versions which weren't on the CD, which i played to death from his site!

It certainly seems so (if you don't count his executive producing the TV show Men In Trees, and why should you?).
