Acclaimed composer Roque Baños (THE MACHINIST, SEXY BEAST) creates a heart-stopping thrill ride of a horror score that launches this all-new re-imagining of the original THE EVIL DEAD into the Horror Hall of Fame alongside its legendary predecessor. Well it has appeared in various places in a promotional form so it is probably up on youtube as well, at least in part. It is certainly one of the more orchestral horror scores of recent years and significantly different than say the Steve Jablonsky style of score for horror films. Well, it's a fine score based on what I've heard of it... a bit too atmospheric for most of its running time but with the great finale.
