After the excellent "Passion" release I'm hoping Quartet would look into releasing Pino Donaggio's score for the 2005 Dario Argento tv movie "Ti piache Hitchcock?" (do you like hitchcock?). Sadly the score from Donaggio remains unreleased.

Noted, automated standard Ford A. Thaxton reply.

I'm sure they'll get the message as they are known to post on this message board. I also wanted to hear other people's thoughts on it, I'm sure I'm not alone in this request.

So in other words you were less interested in their answer and giving them your input and suggestions, rather you were fare more interested in getting an AUDIENCE to show off to...

That explains much.

The title of this thread is 'a request', I don't need an answer right away; I know soundtrack producers like to keep certain projects in the dark as to not jeopardize them, if they chime in, fine, if they don't, fine as well. And I'm not sure who the one is trying to show off here; I certainly didn't intend to start this thread to entertain an audience LOL (though I do hope people will check out the youtube vid), I happened to come across the movie again today and thought I'd post a request for it from the label who did a great job on a previous Donaggio title. Didn't think that was something out of the ordinary on a soundtrack message board, I'm terribly sorry if I waisted people's valuable time by having clicked on this thread. What are your thoughts on "Do you like Hitchcock" by the way?

Thanks for posting this, Francis. I wasn't aware of this film, but I really like the clip from Donaggio's score. Those ghostly female vocals always get under my skin (in a good way). Count me in if it's ever released on CD.

Count me in too. Is this a film score discussion message board where all labels can be discussed? I believe we are allowed to discuss any scores here from any label except Harkit right? Why must Ford Thaxton tell us we can not? Is this his message board? NO! Would his response been different if Buysoundtrax was asked and not Quartet? Yes. Please Ford Thaxton, get some happiness in your life.

Blah,Blah,Blah....

If the original poster had wanted to contact the label directly, I merely pointed out that there were better and much more direct ways of doing it.

Clearly that wasn't his goal, If was vastly more interested in getting an Audience..

Nothing more.

The fact you refuse to see this is your issue, not mine..

As for Happiness, I have a new episodes of GAME OF THRONES and DOCTOR WHO ahead of my this evening.

So Happiness isn't an issue at the moment.

:-)

Good Night and Sweet Dreams!

Let's take a look at this guy's posting history here.

Comments made in Ford Thaxton's direction in this thread as well as the "Here comes my unhappiness....Sorry Tadlow" thread.

Five posts in "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic -- Round 2" and "Bronies: MLP Documentary score & music (David O)" combined, mostly negative.

Four posts in "BSX Presents BEASTMASTER 2 by Robert Folk".

Yeah, this guy is totally not Erik Donovan.

I am a guy? I believe I cover this is another thread, I am a female (Kim). Why when anyone disagrees here they are accused of being someone else. I have beliefs that I express here and post. You seem to go after anyone who does not like MLP? There have been other threads where Ford Thaxton has made comments and others tell him to calm down, are they this Donovan too? In Beastmaster 2 thread I was asking is all autographed CD were sold. How is that bad? They do not change website. In Tadlow thread I agreed with other post and in MLP I had questions, wonder what is wrong?

This thread was started as request to a label to see if they could release a film score. Is Ford Thaxton a moderator here? No. I think you are saying we can not ask questions here? Lukas Kendall has stated that FSM will no longer release CDs, but keeping site open for discussion. I guess you want to be a moderator too? You need some happiness too.

This thread is basically a suggestion and a means to introduce folks here to new music (not to mention, gauge interest). Is that such a terrible premise for a thread? Does it burn too many calories to type "hey, this is good music, I concur!" instead of "you're wasting your time here, go away"?

Really, people.

Is their not a Holly here? I know their are more than us, that is why I became member here. Other sites I find their are no females.

There used to be until some the dingbats in her drove her away. Too few ladies around here if you ask me. In sufficient numbers, I'm convinced that they could civilize the place

Sorry to hear about Holly. Well with what I read above, do not know if I will post much here. I guess my posts are not welcome.

Good track but I imagine that Donaggio's forthcoming score to Patrick would be of a higher priority at the moment.

Don't be intimidated by the weirdos. Most people here are fine and its just a question of separating the wheat from the chaff.

Brilliant Francis! Glad someone else is routing for this one. I wrote to Kritzerland a wee while back after their Pino release in the hope they might consider it. It remains the only score out of Argento's main work that isn't released. Really good stuff from Pino as well. Better than his other Argento score TRAUMA.
