Can't wait to watch Ozon's new film. Is someone going to Cannes next month? I'm pretty excited for this one, their previous collaboration resulted in the beautiful Dans La Maison. What a beautiful score.
For a second I thought that was Laetitia Casta. She looks like a mixture of Casta and a younger Emmanuelle Beart.
hmm.... it seems that this one won't get released. As much as I loved the score, which is simply outstanding as usual with Rombi, there is like 15 minutes of score in whole film - mostly rather short bits and pieces and a couple of songs. Perhaps it will receive 5x2 kind of release, which would still be a revelation, but hardly anything more than that. Good movie too and IMHO best Ozon film in ages.
Great news. According to Film Music Reporter, there will be a soundtrack release (both physical & digital) for this film. There are 4 Rombi tracks and the rest are songs.

Coming on the heels of today's announcement of Quartet's release of Delerue's MAN, WOMAN AND CHILD this is the second best news I've had today.
I can only see three tracks, and those will be probably still rather short so don't expect lengthy suites... but the score is still top quality Rombi so even with a few minutes it still qualifies as one of the best of the year.
I've listened to Rombi's tracks. Beautiful. The theme is very, very close to John Barry and the body of the score sounds a lot like Delerue's dark romantic pieces, especially in the strings.
that's the list price but for whatever reason if you add it to the cart and proceed through checkout to the point where you enter US delivery adress instead of EU, it will lower the price quite considerably and it is actually far cheaper to have it shipped to US then EU.
