Yes, I'm excited about it -- especially if it's in the mode of TRANSFORMERS, THE ISLAND or PAIN & GAIN. Of course, I had been even MORE excited if it had been a Horner assignment, but that's the way the wind blows. As for the film, I'm a bit concerned after having seen the trailer and don't have particularly high expectations for it. I'm also worried about how much of Card's own worldviews appear in the story. I actually quite enjoy the themes in Transformers (the first one). I just got the Island, but haven't listened to it yet. How does Pain & Gain compare with those? As for the book, I find vague references, passing comments, about conservative religions, but they're just little details - in no way can I find any sort of religious message throughout the story.

I entered: Ender's Game into the search field, and under it chose "2013 posts", and the previous thread came right up. Plus, it's been on the main page for a few days now, except today. Not sure why it was so hard to find. It should be on page two or three right now.

After hearing Pain & Gain, I'm looking forward to anything Jablonsky delivers.

After seeing the ENDER'S GAME trailer, I'm kind of glad Horner isn't on the film now. Didn't like the look of it and now I can ignore it, safe in the knowledge the score won't be anything I'm interested in.
