Game looks totally ridiculous, not my style at all but the music sounds quite nice in those trailers.

Didn't think this warranted it's own thread yet but (surprise!) Doyle is confirmed for Branagh's Cinderella movie for next year.

Great news!!!

A children's video game will give him the license to be big, loud, sweeping and dramatic in ways Hollywood has held him back from lately.

BTW, a friend of mine just pointed out, video games can usually be sold on eBay for just $5 or $10 less than retail if they just came out.

Best way to get this may be to order the game, then sell it when it arrives and keep the CD.

Unless there's going to be a standalone release of the CD, that is.

Of course it may just be a download code you get with purchase of the game, hope that's not the case.

Happy to read that Doyle is being awarded the Henry Mancini Lifetime Achievement Award from ASCAP this year. Good choice, and he is indeed in terrific company!

Doyle wrote 70 tracks for the game.

Wow! REALLY looking forward to this score. I hope it gets a physical release and not just a download with purchase of the game.

A Japanese developed, non MMO/FPS/Open World type game composed by a Hollyword composeR? Wow, that's interesting. Unlike almost every other game mentioned here scored by non 'game composers',, this one looks like it might be interesting too...

This came out yesterday, did anyone get it?

I don't play video games, so it wasn't worth the effort. I'll find another way to track down the soundtrack, which I suspect was download-only anyway.

You can watch a walk through of the game and listen to the music:

There's no soundtrack, at least not yet.

But given the developer it's likely to get a release in Japan, as their games tend to get those (Gravity Rush and Soul Sacrifice soundtracks are both great)

Only a few tracks in and so far it's wonderful... an absolute delight. Reignited my excitement for PD's 60th birthday concert later in the year.

So it turns out there IS a soundtrack, included as a pre-order bonus.

Of course I actually am planning on getting the game down the road, but that's not very helpful....

Loving what I'm hearing on Youtube.

A shame it isn't available on its own commercially, even as a download. It seems like the people who would most want the music aren't necessarily those who'd buy the game. Making the soundtrack an exclusive bonus to buying the game seems a bit pointless.

It's a pretty common thing. I'm still hoping that given it's an SCE Japan Studio game it'll get a Japanese disc release (and unlike the pack in, likely ALL of it), despite it being written by a Western composer.
