Original Motion Picture Soundtrack

EVIDENCE

Music composed by
Atli Örvarsson
(Hansel & Gretel, The Eagle)

A team of detectives (Stephen Moyer and Radha Mitchell) attempt to piece together what happened at the scene of a brutal massacre using a number of recording devices found at the crime scene. The footage reveals a group of bus passengers who were forced to fight for their lives after they crash in the middle of the desert and a mysterious killer violently murders them one by one.

Composer Atli Örvarsson re-teams with director Olatunde Osunsanmi (The Fourth Kind) for this tense and gritty horror film.

Image Entertainment opens Evidence in limited release on July 19.

If it will be released through Colosseum in Europe as well, then there should be a lossless version available (from musicload.de), too.

So we have at least two luddites on the board.

Guys, both of you have to understand that both CDS and Dowland are the same thing: A Delivery System, that's all.

Now I would suspect that this score as well as others will be turning up on something like HDTRACKS sometime in the near future.

So if you want a download that is 44.1 at 16bit, I'm sure you'll be able to get this.

However, 99% of the planet couldn't tell the difference between this and downloading it from ITUNES.

It's so funny that First Breath, of all people, is someone who doesn't do downloads, considering how interested he is in technology in music.

Ford, you are aware that iTunes/Amazon/Google Play digital downloads are 44.1khz and 16bit too, aren't you?

It's the compression that's different.

And guess what?

99% of the rest o the planet couldn't tell the difference.

Sorry, but that's just the facts of the matter.

There are plans to sell this release via Amazon's disc on demand service for those who want a physical CD.

99% is a conservative estimate, the real number (in blind testing!) would be closer to 100%. In NO blind testing that has ever been undertaken could the testees differentiate between lossless and high-grade mp3.

And you're still wrong. If you obtain lossless, you can convert it without further loss to every format you desire (mp3, alac, m4p, ogg). When you're being forced to buy lossy, every further conversion will result in a loss of quality.

THAT's the point. If I have to pay almost as much as I would have had for the actual, physical CD (printed cover, pressed CD and all), THEN I WANT IT LOSSLESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FOREVER LUDDITE!!!

I had to look up the word "luddite". I am not that old and I was impressed that Ford knew such a big word!! I have no problem with new technology, but with the problems with our computers at the university where I work, I want hard copies. Computers are always crashing and data is sometimes lost with no recovery. I have one back up drive with enough room for important documents, I am not going to spent a lot of money for backing up something I can have stored already on a CD. It sound like there are a few here that have back ups of back ups. If I have the CD and my players crash, which is crazy. I can go back to the CD and get it with no cost. When CDs are no longer used, I might have to start with downloads, but right now, no, do not want them, will not pay for them.

Great, great news!

The Fourth Kind is my favorite Orvarsson score, so I'm very excited to hear this one!

I'm definitely with you, Deputy, my friend!!! The Fourth Kind was my absolute favorite of 2011. Really excited to hear what Orvarsson does with this one. Here's to hoping a CD-R version is available through Amazon in the future...digital downloads are not my thing.

And considering that the kind of music he loves to listen to suffers the very least in the compression process.
