From BSX latest email:

"FYI, two new titles coming out next Wednesday.

Both will be CD Releases

One will be EXPANDED 2 CD SET reissue of a wonderful early 80's fantasy adventure score by one our favorite composers.

The other is a CD release by popular demand of one of our digital releases which is really rather cool.

Spread the word!!!"

OK, you've got all my attention on the "reissue of a wonderful early 80's fantasy adventure score by one our favorite composers" after the fantastic release from William Kraft's FIRE & ICE!
And I wonder if the second one could be about Star Trek...

I was thinking the same. After Fire & Ice release, I have top-ranked BSX!

I would love that.

The second could be Music from the films of Ridley Scott.

Cheers!

Personally, I hope the second is the Pixar / Giacchino piano album.

The STAR TREK Video Game album has already been announced as coming out on CD. So this must be referring to something else.

Given it's BSX, Holdridge seems like a good guess to me.

Ohhh yes! I'm down for that - I haven't downloaded this yet, and I much prefer disc releases when given the option smile

Every time I hear "early 80's fantasy score", I pray it's The Secret Of NIMH... frown

I'd sure like for it to be Time Bandits, but The Beastmaster would do just fine!

This Wednesday or next Wednesday? Often I've discussed, as did Jerry and George and Sid, whether people mean the next Wednesday that is coming up or they have left out the word 'week' meaning next (week's) Wednesday.
At least it's a good episode of Seinfeld.

Does Beastmaster include enough music to fill 2 CDs? As much as I'd loved that, I kind of doubt there is enough material for a 2CD set.

It won't be a combo of the two because BSX recently released the Robert Folk score to the sequel on its own. If it's the original Beastmaster I too wonder how it'll stretch to two discs...

Any other candidates people can come up with?

Yavar
