Want to know what track it is where Superman is flying in that beam thingy to stop Zod tranforming the earth, towards the end of the movie. Very intense orchestral/choral writing here (my favourite part of the soundtrack). Actually the rest of it sounded too much like Zimmer's Batman music to my ears. But this track was pretty special... very atmospheric...
Terraforming is the track you want. The last 30 seconds or so accompany the moment when he finds the strength to fly directly into the beam and through the top of the machine.
An early version of it can also be found on the sketchbook cue.
132 views of my post and only one reply... but there's some nice synchronicity to that... I just got back from seeing World War Z and my one respondent is "the Mutant" lol. Thanks for the info...

I find it amusing that OP was having difficulty pinpointing the cue he liked during the movie's big moment, after listening to the MOS album, even when the cue is right there and clearly labeled as "terraforming".
I mean, it's pretty hard to imagine someone asking this after watching Superman 1978: "Guys please help! I liked the cue during the Krypton scene but after listening to Williams' album, I can't seem to find it."
A perfect illustration that Zimmer's action cues are interchangeable, or at least ALMOST interchangeable.

Facehugger, leave your computer alone. Go outside, make friends (if any will have you), date some girls or guys (if you're not already married). Just go and experience life.
Mutant, WWZ was by no means a perfect film (e.g. the hospital scene needed trimming a little) but it was so much more an enjoybale viewing experience than Man of Steel. The last 30 - 45 mins of MOS I was sitting there willing it to be finished lo...

Another classy tasteful discussion. Are there any current threads that aren't loaded with muck? Lemme check...
When half of the threads are titled "Zimmer this" and "Zimmer that", you'd have to search really carefully for those threads about genuinely interesting things.
