It's worth pointing out that THE MONEYCHANGERS is a 2-CD set, packed with well over TWO HOURS of classic Mancini! It's a steal at this price.
And I think SLEUTH is one of Addison's most enjoyable scores. Just listen to that fantastic "Overture," or the meltingly beautiful horn solo in "Epilogue" (courtesy the great John Burden).
Thanks for the heads-up! Just bagged Five Days From Home by Conti and the long gestating (will I, won't I) Three Amigos re-issue by Elmer. Boy, their postage is steep for two CD's though. No wonder I use SAE or Ark more often.
Ordered King Kong Lives from the sale and added Dressed to Kill along with some other titles; was meaning to get these and with this incentive it lessens the pain of international shipping.
Does this mean that these titles are not selling and instead of putting them on the OOP block they are trying to get some of their investment back before they put them on the OOP block? I guess I would love to see the releases go on sale more. I am looking to pick up 3-4 on the list that I have not picked up yet, just want to compare postage first.
