"If you think you have been injured as a result of taking part in this survey, please contact..." I hope it's a real survey, because I've just done it. I notice that there wasn't an option for compilations or even double-headers, so, for "Film" I put PREMINGER AT FOX, and for "Composer" I put DAVID RAKSIN. Maybe I should have ignored that set and put something else.

I need your help in answering this question - How do we decide which film music album to buy? It certainly seemed real to me, although I think you gave it the wrong title, It's more a survey of what were the last 5 soundtracks we bought and whether or not we bought them before or after we saw the film, rather than our motivations for buying them.

Mr D, he says that he'll share the results with us here soon. I wonder if my "Preminger at Fox" answer as a "film title" will be disqualified... Dan, if you're looking in, and have problems with that choice, I'll give you another title.

Done! Looking forward to the results. With few exceptions, I tend to prefer hearing a score's full album presentation if possible before purchasing these days - whether streamed on the internet or borrowed as a CD from the library. It isn't necessary for me to have experienced the score within its film to enjoy listening to it on its own. Some examples of scores I own and really enjoy for films I've never seen and have no real intention of ever seeing: The Fountain, Kung Fu Panda, Tomb Raider: The Cradle Of Life, and How To Train Your Dragon.

Your answers were quite varied, Johnny G? Mine were all the same!

Not exactly. 5 scores (actually more, because one was the Preminger set) on CD, all by different composers, purchased without ever having seen the films, and because they were composed by the composer.
