Not exactly shocking, but completely unexpected - and hilarious.

I keep clicking onto this thread whenever I see a new reply, hoping for some enlightenment. I remain baffled as to what I'm missing! :/ Reference to something that happened in the news today??

But surely Philip Seymour Hoffman serenading Phoenix with "Slow Boat to China" in The Master last year is more recent and more, well ...., shockingly WTH-inducing? big grin

Re: "Does the amended title help"

Not when you still have "Recent" in the title and very few (but not the person who started this) post anything much newer than about 25 years! "Gladiator"? "Excalibur"? "The Gambler"? "L.A. Confidential"? Then how about star Janet Leigh getting killed off so early in "Psycho"??? (Yes, I saw what Mark posted as well as last night's "Person or Interest," which I DVRd! Re the last, I'm sick of the constant references to the evil "HR," which always make me think of corporate Human Resources!)

The crocodile at the end of "Gravity" ! big grin

Dammit - I knew we should have stayed to check for any post-credits bonus scenes!

Great film, by the way - GREAT film. And a wonderfully appropriate soundtrack that gives the lie once again for the need always to have a melodic score.

On topic, there was a scene in Kick Ass 2 that made everyone in the cinema audibly cringe - when one of the henchmen fell out of the van during the chase and went under the wheels

The encounter between Jonah Hill and a rather well hung demon in "This is the end".

Sadly not - just 3D. Our choice of venue was limited to those near to where we dropped off our youngest and her friend to attend an Arctic Monkeys* concert...
