I know there was an old thread about dog-poop on your lawn; this one's different. Read the article first for the details, then play the video. Any thoughts?
Pasadena isn't too far from where I live -- and I have friends who live there. I posted a couple of comments, siding with the property owner and his frustrations and blamed the mayor for his childish retaliation. He obviously got his tit caught in the wringer!

Hey Ron, I know Pasadena too and San Marino. My first job ever was when I was in High School and I worked at Santa Anita. But if you look at the video, his wife who's walking ahead of the Mayor points out where a good dumping spot would be, and he seemingly agrees. Hey, this aint Jersey!
They did it all wrong. The wife is supposed to be a lookout, not directing poop traffic. The Mayor should have faked a trip, then flung the bag as he caught his balanced then moved on. And yeah, what an infantile act. He should be removed from office.

...And forced to put a placard on his desk "The Poop Stops Here".
Agreed! I remember one of those funny video shows in which two neighbors had a similar conflict. Neighbor A would walk his dog and let it poop in Neighbor B’s yard. After confronting Neighbor A, who denied it, Neighbor B set up a video camera and recorded it the next time it happened. Neighbor B confronted Neighbor A who again denied it until being shown the video. Neighbor A angrily grabbed up the poop with his bare hand and threw it into his own yard. Maybe the Mayor should be forced to…nah, it would never happen.
The Mayor resigned today (Tuesday). He decried all the publicity, saying that it prevented him from being able to simply apologize and end the controversy. I think he had a chance to apologize but blew it when he didn't readily admit to what he had done.

Agreed. Which, sadly, is typical nowadays for many high-profile types caught in wrong-doing. Deny, delay, obfuscate, shift blame...etc., then finally "accept responsibility" (which means nothing). The apology is usually an apology that the perp was misunderstood in their original denial. Glad to see it cost him his job. Accept the responsibility AND the consequences. He did the right thing in the end. I hope he learned from this and if he did, I wish him well.
