FRIDAY, JUNE 13

STAR WARS: EPISODE VII---a source said Harrison Ford broke his ankle in an accident involving the door of the Millennium Falcon. Disney announced, "Harrison Ford sustained an ankle injury during filming today on the set of STAR WARS: EPISODE VII. He was taken to a local hospital and is receiving care. Shooting will continue as planned while he recuperates." Another source said the sequel has a female villain who might be a Sith.

JURASSIC WORLD---new photo released showing Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt. The first dinosaur photos are expected to be released in July at Comic-Con.

TRUE DETECTIVE---creator Nic Pizzolatto commented on the show's future, "I can't imagine I would do this more than three years. I mean, I'd like to have a regular TV show. We'll have some fixed sets, regular actors and I could bring in people to help and I don't have to be there every second. It'd be great."
He commented on cast rumors for Season 2, "I've seen entertainment reporters say 'My sources say'. There are no sources. There's me and two other guys and they don't even know what I'm doing. I've talked to one person about it, possibly, and that has been it. We haven't cast anybody. I have a secret list and that's it."

THE NICE GUYS---Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling are in negotiations to star in this 1970s-noir movie from Shane Black (KISS KISS BANG BANG, IRON MAN 3). The plot involves a Los Angeles private detective and an enforcer who team up to investigate a porn star's supposed suicide which leads to a murderous conspiracy tied to the auto industry and smog. Producer Joel Silver (PREDATOR, DIE HARD, LETHAL WEAPON) said the movie is, "kind of the next version of what KISS KISS [BANG BANG]' was; a more advanced version.

WONDER WOMAN---reportedly, Warner Bros. will announce at Comic-Con that a stand-alone Wonder Woman movie will be released in July, 2017, a Shazam! movie in July, 2015 and a Flash plus Green Lantern superhero buddy movie at Christmas, 2017.

AMERICAN HORROR STORY: FREAKSHOW---Sarah Paulson tweeted she will play a freak,
"So excited to be playing Bette AND Dot this season. Two heads are better than one! #AHSFREAKSHOW" and posted concept art.

I SAW THE LIGHT---Tim Hiddleston will star in this Hank Williams biomovie.

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST---Guillermo del Toro will not direct this Disney movie starring Emma Watson due to a schedule conflict, but he will remain as producer.

MAGIC THE GATHERING---20th Century Fox movie underway based on the game with the script being rewritten by Bryan Cogman (GAME OF THRONES).

All I could think of is Solo trying to fix the Falcon in ESB and it starts sparking: "Shut it off! Shut it off!"

"I TOLD you it was the mileage!!!"

Hey, only two and a half more years of Fisch's Star Wars updates. I won't be even more hostile to my aging generation's idiotic fascination of that children's movie at all!
