Attention U.S. TCM Subscribers: A really bad day is in store for anyone who encounters Them! (the giant mutant ants that is). The motion picture, however, is one of the best creature features ever made. (More here including Monday early evening's showtime information throughout the U.S.):

The grand-daddy of the 1950s big bug movies. Solid acting, terrific script and fantastic full scale creature effects. Unforgettable sound effects as well. I never tire of watching it.
What a remarkable print. Just watched a few minutes early on but you could see the Method guilt immersion in James Whitmore's face after he had lost his patrol partner.
