This thread is for whatever you're listening to that isn't a film, TV, musical, or video game soundtrack.

Please feel free to share samples.

It's hard to believe this album was recorded in 1972...these guys were SO FAR ahead of their time!!!

Hmmmm...you know, American Nightmare, I've always posted my non-soundtrack stuff in that other thread as well, as it's all MUSIC to me. I don't separate between the two. Film music could be called "visual music" or something and I wouldn't care. But I guess it's fine to have a separate thread for this, like they have over at maintitles.net.

NP: Blade Runner Trilogy CD 3 - ummm...it's nowhere near being film music related. Am not even too sure it's MUSIC related.

I'm listening to the Chandos 'Sea Hawk' which I only now am getting around to hearing in detail. It's funny: once there were NO full albums of that score and now there are four, and numerous suites etc.!

Rumon Gamba has really done something good. I don't say it equals the Morgan/Stromberg full thing, but it's good... frequently the feel of the OST is invoked in unique ways. Each recording has its own merits.

Also today, Bryan Ferry's 'In Your Mind' and EB's 'Bridge at Remagen'.

WRONG THREAD, Sheriff!! wink

Hey, American Nightmare, what do you say? Having two "Now Playing" threads seems to create a lot of confusion. Should we just go back to the original one and close this one?

OR...you could edit the headline to specifically say "NON-film music" or some such thing.

I was also thinking of editing the headline. I'll try that first and see how it goes.
