Welcome to the 1st Annual Film Score Monthly Message Board Holiday CD Gift Exchange!
Here's how it works:
Everyone who's willing to participate in the CD gift exchange should respond to this thread by Friday, December 5th, and be sure to include an e-mail address in your post.
On Saturday, Dec. 6th, I will put all of the participants' names into a hat and Mrs. AN will draw the names at random. I will then post a numbered list of all participants according to the order in which they were drawn. Person #1 on the list will get a gift for person #2, person #2 gets a gift for person #3, etc. The last person on the list gets a gift for person #1.
Each participant will then e-mail their CD wish list and mailing address to their designated gift-giver, so they'll be sure to get something they want (to add an element of surprise to your gift, include multiple titles in your wish list). Be sure your wish list titles are still in print and readily available for purchase online. Gift-givers should reply to your recipient's e-mail immediately to acknowledge receipt of the wish list.
The suggested price limit is $20 (not including shipping), so be sure to keep your wish list titles within the price range. Remember that you can (should) have the CD shipped directly to the recipient when you order it, to cut down on shipping costs and delivery time (just fill in the recipient's info as the "Shipping Address" when you place the order).
Be sure to order your gift promptly so your recipient will receive it by Christmas, and be willing to ship internationally, as we FSMers are scattered all across the globe.
Please, only join in if you're going to follow through and get a gift for your assigned recipient. It wouldn't be cool if anyone were to be left hanging, especially since they'll be buying a gift for someone else and expecting to receive one of their own.
