Personally I think Inbetweeners is the funniest show on TV so knowing movie is the same cast, writers and director, I'm really really excited for this.
Hell yes....was absolutely addicted to the series, and very much looking forward to the movie...
I saw the trailer a couple of weeks back - forget which movie it was attched to - butwas quite surprised as to just how unfunny it was...the audience sat there in complete and utter silence. One can only hope this is not a sign of things to come with the movie....but either way it won't stop me seeing it.
Incidentally - I literally bumped into Greg Davies last year during the Edinburgh Festival - he's a lofty guy! - lost for words, the first thing that sprang from my mouth was to shout after him "Oi! Briefcase Wanker!". Thankfully, his response was to turn to me and smile and nod a little then carry on walking....

I thought the teaser trailer that screened with Scream 4 was rubbish, but the full trailer is awesome and just looks like clips from a new tv episode.

If the trailer you saw was just the lads walking down a street in clubland ogling girlies then, yes, that was the teaser. The full trailer looks great, including scenes in school with Gilbert before they go abroad.
James Buckley has jokingly played down the success of The Inbetweeners.
The 23-year-old actor, who played Jay Cartwright in the puerile E4 sitcom, was promoting the upcoming film spinoff alongside co-star Simon Bird on Alan Carr: Chatty Man.
Buckley jested: "I think we have rode our luck out. It's just a silly little programme, isn't it? It's a laugh. It's just s**t, isn't it?"
Last month, the Rock & Chips star lauded the comedy, describing it as something "Britain can be especially proud of".
Meanwhile, Bird - who plays Will McKenzie - explained that filming the movie was an "emotional" experience.
"The last week of filming was quite emotional because we spent so much time together over the last three years. Knowing it's coming to an end is horrible, really."
The Inbetweeners Movie, which also stars Joe Thomas (Simon Cooper) and Blake Harrison (Neil Sutherland) opens in cinemas on August 19.
The film version of TV hit The Inbetweeners has raked in more than £13 million in a matter of days - making it the biggest ever opening weekend for a UK comedy.
The spin-off from the E4 show has now overtaken Bridget Jones: Edge Of Reason, which was the previous biggest opener with £10.4 million.
The Inbetweeners movie sees show regulars Simon Bird, Joe Thomas, James Buckley and Blake Harrison heading off on their first "lads' holiday" with a wild trip to Malia in Crete.
It took £13.2 million since its opening, including previews.
Producer Chris Young said: "We are thrilled that The Inbetweeners Movie is the biggest opening of all time for a UK comedy."
Third biggest all-time UK comedy was Wallace & Gromit: Curse Of The Were-Rabbit with £9.4 million.
Just saw it. Absolutely hysterical! Very very funny film, essentially an extended episode of the series.
I won't spoil any of the great gags but I will say the scene of Will and Simon trying to mimick Neil's dancing had me laughing for about 5 minutes after the scene ended. Brilliant stuff.
That said, the Odeon Chelmsford did their usual level best to ruin the film experiance for everyone, with a late start (typical of them) and very poor sound levels. And the first 10 minutes or so had a very very slight lip sink issue as well, which is pretty hard to understand given that it was a digital presentation.

Hmmm... a certain guy who genuinely thought it was cool to wear a kimono to a disco? Hong Kong Fuey, Number 1 super geek.
1) The cinema was full. I mean packed to the rafters. This is a mini-budget movie in a multiscreen cinema in tiny Gloucester, and the movie has already been out for a week. Being Friday night obviously helped, but the cinema are even having to show it on two screens...for anything other than a major blockbuster, that's unheard of here.
2) I laughed. Then when I stopped laughing, I started laughing again. Actually, to be honest, there were many parts where I just simply roared....it...was...great...pure and simple.
Matt Smith was nearly cast in series The Inbetweeners, according to its creators Iain Morris and Damon Beasley: Matt Smith, the best Doctor Who of all time, was up for the role of Will. He was really, really brilliant and so funny, just a brilliant actor. And clever. He had all the comic timing you wanted, all the dramatic sense you might need. We spent a long time in development; I think if we had to make a decision very quickly and we were going off to shoot, we would definitely have gone with Matt at that point. But it just became a very long, drawn-out thing, and he had other projects on the go. Quite big projects, as it turned out, but we loved him."
