Between 2007 and 2011, five series (seasons) of the original U.K. show Primeval were produced and aired, with DVD (and sometimes Blu-ray as well) releases of those episodes coming out in North America between 2008 and 2012. When that program ended, the husband-and-wife science fiction writing/producing team of Judith and Garfield Reeves-Stevens produced a Canadian spin-off of the show, Primeval: New World, which was seen up north on the Space network (and in the States on the Watch network). It ran for 1 season of 13 episodes, before being cancelled early this year.
Now eOne Entertainment has announced an October 22nd street date for a U.S. and Canadian release of Primeval: New World - The Complete Series on DVD ($29.98 SRP) and high-def Blu-ray Disc (CA$39.98 SRP). Each will be a 3-disc set with all 13 episodes, subtitled in English.
A month ago we reported that Primeval: New World - The Complete Series is coming to DVD and Blu-ray Disc on October 22nd from eOne Entertainment. Now the studio has revealed that these sets will come with 13 Episodic Behind-the-Scenes Featurettes, along with "Meet the Cast" and "Inside the Tank."
