Tonight's quiz- What film were they thinking about having RAY HARRYHAUSEN do the effects on that could have really been a career high for RAY in the 70's?
Quiet these days. well the answer was a couple of years before KING KONG was made in the 70's there was some talk about who was going to do a remake of that classic film. Of course PARAMOUNT AND DINO made it. But for a while there was talked about KEN RUSSELL doing it, universal doing it where RAY HARRYHAUSEN would handle the effects. In which may I say if KEN did it, more then a few second scene of the heroine breast would have been shown I am sure. If Universal and Ray did it, might have turned into a great classic and a grand achievement near the end of RAY'S great career.
