I have a suspicion that chickenhearted is trying to trick us with this one...... smile

Because of the images we might think it's THE LIVING DESERT, or THE VANISHING PRAIRIE, or some such, but I think it is actually a compilation film called......

THE BEST OF WALT DISNEY'S TRUE-LIFE ADVENTURES.

Now if they would only release the music tracks to all these films.

I still have the combo lp of THE LIVING DESERT and THE VANISHING PRAIRIE, with Paul Smith's music, previously released on 2 10-inch lp's.

And there's a compilation lp of tracks from various shorts, including PROWLERS OF THE EVERGLADES, and others, which has some really great music.

Smith's score for SECRETS OF LIFE was actually released on CD, available through some outlet at Disneyland, itself, though not expanded from the original lp tracks.

I bought all the DVD sets of the Disney nature films, just for the music. (I also always loved the animated beginnings of them, where a paint brush would illustrate the globe and the particular locale where the film takes place. Lovely.)
