Oh no, Guns of the Magnificent Seven wont seem the same next time I see it on TCM.

He seemed have a period where he only got given parts as evil Mexican colonels!

Good actor. Made his mark.

The only role I knew him for was as Mr. Freeze on Batman: The Animated Series and its various spin-offs.

He always did a fantastic job making Freeze menacing while never losing sight of his humanity.

Michael had a great voice and was long a favorite of mine. Whether it was playing Cochise, Kang on Star Trek, ST Deep Space Nine and ST Voyager, Mr. Freeze on B:TAS or any of scores of other roles. He will be missed. He was 91.

I enjoyed him as an actor. He was very good. Thought it was cool that at one time he was married to I DREAM OF JEANNIE'S Barbara Eden.

He was just as good and maybe a better actor than Yul Brynner, who I thought was quite similar to Ansara. Of course Yul got all the big movie parts and Ansara did well in Television.

Loved him as Kurt Russell's father in that LOST IN SPACE Episode.

Sorry to hear of his passing. Condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.

91 is a good long life. My dear mother is 92 and God Bless her, she's still going strong.

Loved him in THE EGYPTIAN....

And in TV's BROKEN ARROW, opposite the underrated John Lupton.

A very fine actor. How sad to have had his son precede him in death.

Ansara spent the next four years in television, including starring in two series. For two years he played Cochise in "Broken Arrow," and for a year he played an Indian deputy U.S. Marshal in "The Law of the Plainsman." Ansara returned to feature work in Irwin Allen's 1961 VOYAGE TO THE BOTTOM OF THE SEA. He later guest-starred in two episodes of the subsequent series.
