Showtime head David Nevins said, “This d*mn fine cup of coffee from Mark and David tastes more delicious than ever. Totally worth the extra brewing time and the cup is even bigger than we expected. David will direct the whole thing which will total more than the originally announced nine hours. Preproduction starts now!"

MAD MAX: FURY ROAD---George Miller commented on the next sequel, "Being asked that questions feels to me like being a woman who's just given birth to a really big baby. And then someone asks you, ‘When are you having your next baby?' We only finished 12 days ago. I'm just not recovered enough to get into it... If we get the appetite again to go back out into the wasteland, there's other films we want to do. That's the answer I can give this moment, now: I've just come out of labor."

MATTHEW McCONAUGHEY---McConaughey said he's had talks to appear in movies from Marvel and DC Comics, “I’ve read some Marvel and DC scripts and I’ve talked about working with them on some scripts, none of which I’ll share with with you what they are — or were. Yeah, I’ve circled some of those. Nothing has been right for me yet. But I’m sure open to it.”
Also, Michelle Williams (MY WEEK WITH MARILYN) will play McConaughey's wife in the movie GOLD based on the true story of a Canadian mining company which falsely claimed it discovered a vast gold deposit in Indonesia in 1993.

FEAR THE WALKING DEAD---creator Robert Kirkman said the spinoff series will not explain the origin of the zombie plague, and its zombies will have a "a very unique look."

WARCRAFT---photo released from the 3D movie based on the video game showing Robert Kazinsky as Orgrim Doomhammer. Duncan Jones (MOON, SOURCE CODE) is the director. Premiere is June 10, 2016.

THE FOREST---Natalie Dormer (GAME OF THRONES) stars in this horror movie in which a women searches for her missing sister in Japan's Aokigahara Forest and encounters the tormented souls of the dead.

BATMAN v SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE---a source said Doomsday will be in the sequel as Lex Luthor's "muscle".

ARROW---executive producer Marc Guggenheim said about next season, "It will take a lighter tone...every year you want to mix things up and there was sort of a collective desire on all of our parts to try to inject a little bit more lightness into the show, a little bit more humor. It's not going to radically change. The show's still going to be the show but in terms of tone we're coming off a very very hard season for all of our characters. We wanted to try to mix it up a little bit."

WALT DISNEY COMPANY---Disney head Bob Iger said there's a possibility of tv channels exclusively for Star Wars and Marvel Comics, "We have said that with these channels and these brands - ESPN, ABC, Disney, maybe even down the road something related to Star Wars and Marvel - we do have an ability as a company to take product, specifically filmed entertainment, television, movies, directly to consumers."

THE YOUNG POPE---HBO miniseries starring Jude Law as an American chosen to be the Vatican's conservative pope, Pius XIII, “a complex and conflicted character, so conservative in his choices as to border on obscurantism, yet full of compassion towards the weak and poor. He is a man of great power who is stubbornly resistant to the Vatican courtiers, unconcerned with the implications to his authority. During the series, Belardo will face losing those closest to him and the constant fear of being abandoned, even by his God."

HELL AND BACK---animated comedy movie about two guys who must rescue their friend who was accidentally dragged to Hell. Mila Kunis, Bob Odenkirk, Susan Sarandon and Danny McBride star.

Ok that is as dumb an idea as having Bane be Poison Ivy's muscle in Batman and Robin.

That would be two legendary franchises (the other being James Bond, of course) The Craigger will raise to great new heights, even with this (not-so) anonymous cameo.

Seems like actors are all of a sudden feeling easy about spilling spoilers before things are released lately. confused

I'm curious to the "level" of cameo it is. I hope it isn't something that I remember as the film is playing and I end up playing "Wheres Waldo" with every anonymous Imperial trooper I see.

If you find yourself thinking "aren't you a little short for a Stormtrooper?", then you're probably looking at Daniel Craig.

In the group of Stormtroopers marching along sideways, he'll be the one who turns to point to the camera...

Pegg got it wrong. My source tells me that Craig wanted to be a storm trooper but director JJ Abrahsms felt that the lack of facial expression caused by the helmet would make EVERY storm trooper look like Daniel Craig, so the Bond actor was cast as something more suitable for the range of his talents as shown in the exclusive behind the scenes photo below.

"Moderation" isn't a Disney tactic, apparently. Look how much Age of Ultron footage poured forth before its street date. You also have to dodge spoilers online because they release new movies in Europe and Australia first. They're already leaking Civil War set pix and footage. They give too much away.

Like I predicted, David Lynch came back, and it sounds like they gave him what he wanted.

I think that there is a very real possibility that Disney is doing to Star Wars what Paramount did to Star Trek in the 80's and 90's, over-saturation of a brand.

Rick Berman told Paramount over and over after TNG that they should take a break, but they successively put out 3 more Trek TV series, simultaneous with TNG movies also. Now Paramount nor CBS will support a TV show because they brand was overtaxed, and even the re-boot movies have not met expectation of the studios or the fans. Sometimes less is more, but Disney is missing that, and while we are at it, Disney Marvel is missing that also in that wing of comic book movies. Though successful now, Marvel exhaustion will take over at some point.

On this subject, it seems like the theme to Good Morning America these days might as well be the goddamn Star Wars Main Title. (You hear it every morning at 7 a.m. . . .)

Seems they have given up on secrecy or feel the "leaks" are actually good for business. (Which might be the case) or with anything nowadays, they feel a need to shove everything down our throats or we won't get it.

I’m already sick of it! They’ve started the marketing six months early. Everywhere I look, from department stores to the grocery stores, to my email inbox, I'm seeing Stormtroopers and droids on everything!

That would be three, actually, assuming you count James Bond as a great franchise. The other great one would be Indiana Jones, the first Lucasfilm franchise in which Daniel Craig appeared.

As funny as I find it, I would not put it past JJ Abrams to pull something like that...

In fairness, there is a current new Star Wars TV series that's running now (it's between its first and second seasons), plus various novels, comics, games, etc., always ongoing. Star Wars isn't just "gearing up" for a new release; it's been steadily ongoing for years, and undoubtedly will be for years.

That is true Joe, but you do not over saturate the brand with comic books and novels and games, that stuff can exist at the level of hobby, collector culture for decades completely unnoticed by the greater society. What over saturates brands are television shows and movies, those are the highest level of mass culture impact, as they are seen by the most people. I would imagine there are lot of people that do not have a clue how many Star Trek and Star Wars novels and games exist. Disney is laying out a pretty intense annual plan for Star Wars movies. I will grant that I think the Rebels TV show is pretty good.

Well I was speaking more of seeing these characters on candy wrappers, cereal boxes and everything else six months before the release of the film.

Will the helmet be wider to accommodate the ears?
