I think it's great. If you like Ifukube, then I don't think you'll be disappointed. I missed out on the Futureland release from 20 years ago, so I am very happy with this release. It is in mono, but the remastered sound seems fine to me. There is a song ("The Word Gets Stuck in My Throat") that I could not listen to for more than about 10 seconds. The score though is outstanding.

Thanks Blankie. On the way along with War of the Gargantuas of course. However and if I'm not mistaken, I believe that "The Word Gets Stuck in My Throat" is from Gargantuas. In this specific instance, one couldn't reasonably say that we are dealing with a "so bad it's good" scenario, but rather, and undeniably, that it is so bad it's actually bad.
Completely blown away by the Tribute Film Classics "Mysterious Island". This is an example of dying to see the movie for the first time since I've already fallen in love with the music.
