Actor Robert Clary, most famous for his role as Corporal Louis LeBeau on the classic TV series Hogan's Heroes is still with us now at age 92. He is the last living member of the starring cast, and may be the last surviving actor from the show. Considering his horrific early life story during WWII, it's truly amazing that he could find it within himself to make us laugh. But he did. A remarkable man.
Remarkably, John Kander of Kander & Ebb fame (Cabaret, Chicago, New York New York, etc. - Ebb died in 2004.) is not only still with us at the age of 91, he is also still writing new musicals. His latest is Kid Victory which premiered Off-Broadway last year.
Legendary English actor Joss Ackland is 90 years old. He's had a long stage career, but is widely known for his TV and film roles, including Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (1979, with Alex Guinness), the villain in Lethal Weapon 2, and Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey.
I first noticed Harris Yulin as wyatt earp in Doc with stacey Keach. Ok he isnt 90-100 but caught him in Billions the other day - still working at 80 is pretty impressive.
Some of the announced celebrities who will be attending screenings of their films at next month's TCM Classic Film Festival include:
