Though the studio hasn't formally announced it yet, it appears Olive Films is set to release the first two seasons of the 1964 Flipper series on Blu-ray. Online retailers have begun listing season sets of both the first season (30 episodes), and the second season (30 episodes) for release on August 29.
Season 1 was originally released on DVD in 2007, with the second season coming as a Manufacture-on-Demand title in 2010. Season 3 remains unreleased.
I never saw the attraction of animal series. There is one episode of "Black beauty" featuring a scam with a man dressed up as a skeleton in a monk's habit, that scared me beyond anything when I was a kid. "Fury" was okay occasionally just because it had that old look about it but still animals in the lead is to me a reason to skip. "Skippy" that one was the worst, animals ànd set in Australia.

NIGHT GALLERY repackaged into a complete release, no additional bonus features than previous releases, slated for Sept. 2017. Slightly cheaper than buying the 3 seasons separately. I wonder if they'll remove the Season 3 episodes that were in the Season 1 set, and redo the menus so all seasons are consistent.

I never saw "Flipper" when I was a kid because our house couldn't receive the local NBC station (bad reception in those pre-cable days). I was a big fan of "Lassie," however, and to a lesser extent Rin-Tin-Tin.
In 1974, NBC began airing Movin' On, an 18-wheeler adventure series starring a pre-"Sheriff Lobo" Claude Akins, and with a theme song by Merle Haggard. The program ran for two seasons, with 44 episodes in all (plus the pilot telefilm, In Tandem).
Manufacture on demand (MOD) distributor Allied Vaughn informed us this morning that today, September 20th, they have begun selling Pro Classic TV's Movin' On - Season 1 and Movin' On - Season 2. These 5-DVD sets are sold for $39.95 SRP each, and cover art is nearly identical (see below), so you'll have a hard time telling them apart!
But now's your chance to own both seasons, without journeying to a truck stop to find them (we've heard rumors that these were available in limited distribution at some truck stops for a while, but have never been able to verify that...even though I've stopped a a few truck stops and looked for them myself!).
I am also interesting in the upcoming Longstreet whose music scores are by Oliver Nelson and Benny Golson. Anyway, I put The Magician on my wish list because it is a show I remember from my 70's childhood.
Currently watching this excellent and unusual show. S. one features an ep that showcases the extraordinary talents of Frank Gorshin better than I have ever seen! I usually can't stand impressionists, which I consider the lowest form of comedy. But, FG raised it to an art form. Genuius!

Yes, my man Bruce!
Finally I can get rid of my poor quality VHS tape with Bruce Lee's 4 appearances, especially "The Way of the Intercepting Fist", written by Stirling Silliphant (who was a student of Lee's). TWOTIF is the English translation of Lee's martial arts concept, Jeet Kune Do.
Lee's other 3 appearances suffered due to his character being shoe-horned (more or less) into pre-existing scripts.
From Kino Lorber Studio Classics about The Outer Limits Releases
They will be - Season one DVD will be 8 discs and the BD will be 7 discs. We're sure everyone will be happy with the packaging and new beautiful transfers.
Season 1 will include commentaries from various historians for 16 or 17 episodes and 40 page booklet - Season 2 will include commentaries for half of the episodes and will include as many extras as we can get, plus another booklet.
PS: It is reported that David J Schow’s third edition of The Outer Limits Companion Book will surface in 2018.
Just came across a strange one.... THE THIRD MAN with Michael RENNIE. He plays a character called Harry Lime but it isnt the one Orson Welles played. In fact its a sequel of sorts in a world where Lime is sort of a good guy who never died in Vienna. Oh the zither music is there too. Brm
Ps its hilarious to read the customers complaints on Amazon; many mistakenly thought they were purchasing the Carol Reed film classic!
