OK MV just announced their October titles. So we know:

Tuesday Oct 07 = Man Hunt by Alfred Newman, Batman Animated v3, Transformers 4
Tuesday Oct 21 = Titan A.E. by Graeme Revell, one additional title
Tuesday Nov 04 (announced Tuesday Oct 28) = ?
Tuesday Nov 18 (announced Tuesday Nov 11) = ?
Tuesday Dec 2 (announced Friday Nov 28 [BLACK FRIDAY]) = ?

Potential candidates for the other Oct 14 title, and the November titles:

Giant by Dimitri Tiomkin - Yesterday, MV hinted this was coming right here: http://filmscoremonthly.com/board/posts.cfm?threadID=14254&forumID=1&archive=1

Ladyhawke by Andrew Powell - announced late 2013, but then continually delayed. Should be coming soon?

Jessebelle by Anton Sanko - The film opens November 7th, so it's likely a November 4th title; It's been on Amazon since July because the film was originally scheduled to open August 29th: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KYJHNIE

Star Trek Enterprise - Announced at Cordoba by Dan Goldwasser as a Fall release. I'm guessing Black Friday title?

I know nothing about a GIANT release. I just wrote it's in mono on a previous thread.

Ladyhawke -- is at WB for artwork approval. It might come out this year.

Jessabelle is coming out Nov 4.

Enterprise - might come out this year. Master is done and licked. Jeff is writing notes. Hopefully we can get it all approved in time.

I don't know if there will be a Nov 18 release. It all depends on what is done and ready to ship.

And this year, there may be 4 to 6 titles for Black Friday. So save them pennies. smile

Thanks for the update, MV! I will remove Giant from the speculated titles then.

Good luck getting the approvals you need for Ladyhawke and Star Trek Enterprise in time!!

4 to 6 black friday titles? Awesome! Will they all be catalog titles, or will any be for late 2014 movies, like that one year we got Jack Reacher?

I am definitely curious about that HOWE 3CD set...
Are all three CDs going to be packed in some special case that will be autographed by Shore or is he signing 120 copies of each of the titles and those will be available separately?

Updated speculation list

Tuesday Oct 07 = Man Hunt by Alfred Newman, Batman Animated v3, and Transformers 4
Tuesday Oct 21 = Titan A.E. by Graeme Revell, one additional title
Tuesday Nov 04 = Jessebelle by Anton Sanko, possibly other title(s)?
Tuesday Nov 18 = There will only be a release this week if something gets approved and pressed in time
Tuesday Dec 2 = 4 to 6 Black Friday titles

Potential candidates for the other Oct 21 title, and the November/BF titles:

Ladyhawke by Andrew Powell - MV says "is at WB for artwork approval. It might come out this year."

Star Trek Enterprise - MV says "might come out this year. Master is done and licked. Jeff is writing notes. Hopefully we can get it all approved in time."

HOWE Records printed up 120 slip cases to house all 3 new cds. Mr Shore signed all those copies and gave us an online exclusive to sell them, much like what we do when Bear's label, Shadows and Sparks, has a release.

The price is $59.98 for the set, and it will ONLY be sold in a set configuration. Once they are gone they are gone, but you will still be able to buy them individually through Amazon and other fine online retailers

John Debney's PASSION OF THE CHRIST 2CD set forthcoming from La La Land Records. John Debney Just confirmed this on his facebook page!

So thrilled to announce that the Double CD re-issue of the The Passion of the Christ soundtrack is almost done. Wonderful interviews with film makers and key musicians. Spectacular! Thank you to La-La records!

Really exciting news because I liked this along with The Stoning of Soraya M score. Both score complement each other.

The latest from LLL's Facebook:

Nine titles are racing toward the Black Friday finish line right now. Only 5 will make the cut this year (there will be no MEGA EXPENSIVE BOX SET like in year's past). Three of those titles are just been approved and are off to print and manufacture.

October is always the most exciting, nail biting, hair pulling time of the year for us! At least we know our tickers are working!

Even if there 'd be "only" TITAN A.E., what a wonderful title it is! I'm waiting for such a release since the film release.
Thank you, LLL gang!
