Thanks so much for the MGM Treasury covers. Look so much better than the old LP covers I was using.
One thing though.... you've done a cover for Roy Budd's Who Dares Win. Shouldn't it be The Final Option ?
Cheers, a lot of work went in but most gratifying to complete ... finally. The Final Option, a) there's really no decent artwork out there, b) that's how the film is known in Britain and c) if you check the liner notes the title is there 'aka Who Dares Wins, aka Commando.'

Huh. I've heard of Who Dares Win, but never knew it was the same film - you live and learn as they say.
I've never got used to digipaks, I much prefer jewel cases, so when the Lord of the Rings Symphony was released in a digipak, I was disappointed to say the least.
Here is my attempt to make a set of jewel case covers for the Lord of the Rings Symphony recording;
One of the elements that makes some of these beautifully attractive covers look less authentic is the extreme tightness of the type to the edges, as in the top and bottom text above. Real booklet designs would always allow a wider margin between type and trimmed edges, if only to allow for manufacturing/trimming tolerances. These custom covers aren't trimmed into booklets of course, but even so, if they don't conform to what we've grown accustomed to seeing, they look less authentic. An exception might be if the text is part of a regular design feature that never changes position (like the text in the Varese Encore top banner). Just saying.
I just purchased the digital release of Rozsa's re-recorded Thief of Bagdad and Jungle Book (the Collosseum release without narration) and would like to request individual covers for those if anyone is so inclined. I'd have a go at them myself but don't have the time unfortunately.
Nice, Chris, but you need to correct "... and Conducted by MIKLOS ROZSA" if it's "conducted by NIC RAINE." Also perhaps vertically centre the title artwork.
