Just dusted off the CD to Henri 4 by Henry Jackman & Hans Zimmer for a spin and, upon reading the booklet, noticed these two credits.. Score mixed by Alan Meyerson Album mastered by Alan Meyerson Don't know if he worked on the other 3
Not until you recant any and all disparaging remarks you've made about my beloved Bonanza.
I actually saw a very entertaing ep today. It starred Jonathan Harris as Charles Dickens and cleverly fictionalizes true events surrounding his American tour.
Check it out! Brm
Yes, it's a fine episode. "A Passion for Justice", from season 5:

I was hoping the boutique labels would promote this thread with a "30% off all releases mixed by Alan Meyerson" sale.
They did, but the sale only applied to a certain European market ...

This Alan Meyerson thread has got me in a "scores mixed by Alan Meyerson" mood! Most everyone here knows about my love for the Man of Steel and Captain America: The Winter Soldier scores, so to start a topic dedicated to Master Meyerson and have it reach such great heights--despite the absence of board luminaries like SchiffyM and Spymaster--has made me oh so very proud.
BTW, have you seen Master Meyerson's IMDb page? It has a picture of his dog on it! Maybe someone in the film score biz has a sense of humor after all--Master Meyerson certainly does! (contact me via FSM private message and I'll tell you the film score luminary who does NOT have a sense of humor).
NP: Captain America: Civil War (mixed by you-know-who).
DID anyone else notice that Woolston's copy of LLL CE3k was "lost" somewhere in France?
Draw your own conclusions b
REFERENCE NOTES: "Sadly my copy got lost somewhere in France nearly two weeks ago according to the parcel tracking, so I still haven't heard it. Don't think I'm ever gonna see that parcel. " -wOOLSTON
It's really funny. One of the things that stands out about a lot of the posts here, is just how 'consumer culture' orientated they are. People talk about their favourite TV shows, chocolate bars, food, drink, and even when the subject is music, it tends to be about who's marketing what CDs, what the graphics and packaging is, which studios have rights to what, even how you got on opening the wrapper.. Anything but the actual music.
The feeling some of us Europeans get is that you fellas drink in advertising and corporate culture from the cradle, to an extent that you don't realise it's odd. We just don't feel that way. As I say, I don't even notice banners. I block them out instinctively. It's becoming your dominant culture over there. You'd just not get umpteen threads on what everybody's eating for dinner anywhere else, as here.
"You American-haters bore me to tears, Ms. Barham. I've dealt with Europeans all my life. I know all about us parvenus from the States who come over here and race around your old cathedral towns with our cameras and Coca-Cola bottles... Brawl in your pubs, paw at your women, and act like we own the world. We overtip, we talk too loud, we think we can buy anything with a Hershey bar. I've had Germans and Italians tell me how politically ingenuous we are, and perhaps so. But we haven't managed a Hitler or a Mussolini yet. I've had Frenchmen call me a savage because I only took half an hour for lunch. Hell, Ms. Barham, the only reason the French take two hours for lunch is because the service in their restaurants is lousy. The most tedious lot are you British. We crass Americans didn't introduce war into your little island. This war, Ms. Barham to which we Americans are so insensitive, is the result of 2,000 years of European greed, barbarism, superstition, and stupidity. Don't blame it on our Coca-Cola bottles. Europe was a going brothel long before we came to town."
In viewing the "testimonials" and other such advertising on their site, it appears that these shindigs are held in only the most idyllic of locations (which leaves out West Yorkshire):
