My wishlist for 1960s Paramount titles, in addition to the forthcoming one by Williams (Tennessee Williams, that is - "S" & "S" ) includes: Leonard Rosenman's "Hell Is For Heroes", '62 (your favorite year, Bruce) "Lady In A Cage" by Paul Glass, '64 (Guillermo del Toro loves this one - me, too) Jerry Goldsmith's "Warning Shot", '67 (maybe with the Liberty LP progam, too?) "No Way To Treat A Lady" by Stanley Myers, '68 "Blue" by Manos Hadjidakis, '68 Komeda's "Riot", '69 "My Side Of The Mountain" by Wilfred Josephs, '69 (the LP was mostly dialogue) Hope Kritzerland's plans go well whichever titles are released. Maybe someday we'll even witness Bernard Green's "All The Way Home" on an album ... Hell is for heroes is wonderful, especially the delicious North-esque main title with snare drumming and Spartacus-like trumpets. Blue is an interesting one. I havent seen the film in years but I was convinced the LP version of the main title seem to be lacking the edge of the music in the actual film, I suspect choir was missing or different. From memory, film version much better, and has castenets at the beginning as the gang ride up. Nice score though. good main theme and nice love theme.
