LLLCD 1333 - is finally cleared and is in artwork approval stage at WB. A spectacular Golden Age title that better sell. If not, I'm coming after you Golden Age fans! wink

Have no fear ! WE WILL BE THERE FOR THE ANNOUNCEMENT AND THE PURCHASE. How else can we encourage you to do more "golden age " scores ? " Spectacular" and WB. You sure got me curious.

Hey Cody, once again we are thinking the exact same thoughts at the same time! smile

We are "connected".

Yes Cody!

Maybe it's: The High and The Mighty? The Nun's Story? The Hanging Tree?

Helen of Troy? Miracle of Our Lady of Fatima? Spirit of St. Louis? or?

Perhaps GIANT or THE OLD MAN AND THE SEA if things have been straightened out on that title.

It could also be King Richard and the Crusaders.

It could very well be GIANT. I think MV has hinted at this in the past. Sure hope so.

I don't know if I would call THE OLD MAN AND THE SEA "spectacular", maybe MV is getting carried away in all the excitement? smile

King Richard would be an instant buy for me!

Any of the above titles will be purchased by me. Don't let MV down golden age fans. We need more labels other than Intrada and Kritzerland going for the "gold".

And Sorority Row is a terrific score - the old Intrada combo with The Alchemist is one of my favorite Richard Band's (for two movies I plan never ever ever to see).

I caught House... on YouTube earlier this year. It's typical slasher fodder enlivened by some stylish touches and, of course, Band's music. It may well be his best and this news just knocks me right over. Not just that it's coming out on a non-Intrada label, but that it's even coming out. Just wow.

Can't defend The Alchemist, though. Gorgeous music, but the film sounds rancid from everything I've ever read about it.

Like I have previously said, I will purchase whatever title it is. Still, I do have preferences. I would love a world premiere over an expansion. I'd love it to be a Max Steiner score, however I think it will be either Dimitri Tiomkin or Franz Waxman. As a world premiere, SUNRISE AT CAMPOBELLO would be great, but others have pointed out that there probably isn't enough music in the film to fill a complete CD. With Dimitri Tiomkin, a world premiere would probably be THE HIGH AND THE MIGHTY. This is all conjecture for my part. I am also prepared to purchase any expansion score from a previously issued title. I hope this "WB spectacular" will be available come August.

Looking forward to getting a legit Krull (the one I currently have is a b00t I purchased when the album was in-between printings embarrassment) and House On Sorority Row is a fun score for a fairly atrocious slasher movie.

I too will buy the WB CD no matter what it is.

My guess is: THE HIGH AND THE MIGHTY or GIANT!

MV, please try to do a few Max Steiner at WB CDs! smile

"The House on Sorority Row" is a masterwork, with one of the greatest main titles ever. A wonderful release.
