I'm currently adding it to ITunes for loading onto the phone... but I'll have clips of all of it on SoundtrackNet hopefully tonight or tomorrow...

Don't list it as NEW AGE or I'll kill you!!!

No, somebody (Lukas) already added it to iTunes... I mean I rip all my CDs to iTunes which I then post-process as audio clips for SoundtrackNet... so I don't get to mis-categorize it as others often do! ;-)

I also use Yahoo Music Jukebox because my phone mp3 player likes it better, and I like Yahoo Music Jukebox about as much as I like the itunes.

I had my notification 29th Feb yippeeeeeee!

I've been a naughty boy and a few days after ordering the blue box, I ordered the DVD of Alex Haley's Queen. Wonder why they didn't include it as part of the Roots Complete Collection?

I was just mulling over my SUPERMAN DVD collection boxed set and while going through it I began to wonder if Lukas & Mike thought about doing a bonus cd of the this film as an Archival Cut during the planning stage of this set. But more importantly I wonder if this cut is referenced the liner notes in the 160 PAGE BOOK. In anycase it would be nice if FSM or Mike Mattessino could do an article on how the The Richard Donner cut was reassembled (the score i.e using Williams original and Ken Thorn's material)

And speaking of the 160 page book it would be nice to have a PDF file up on the webpage just like the LOTR-The complete score for us to download (i.e if anyone wants to have it) But then again it will be more enjoyable to beholdthe book to some!

Mine arrived about ten minutes ago! The set had a bit of a rough ride as the some discs were loose, but no physical damage. I perused some of it so far, but it's quite impressive. It's a totally new listening experience. I'd say what I've heard so far sounds even better than the isolated score in terms of mix and balance. All those glorious orchestral details missing from the Rhino album are heard at last!

The "film version" of the main titles of Superman I is still the full version, but minus the concert flourish if anyone's wondering.

We've got more clips of the CD up at SoundtrackNet and are beginning work on a "Super" review...

http://www.soundtrack.net/albums/database/?id=4806

So for those still waiting, there are at least 236 samples to satiate some of your thirst...

You mock me with the samples! Sure does prove once and for all though how much better the scores to 1 and 2 sound though. You'd expect IV to sound pristine, but something happened between 2 and 3 because there is a certain improvement with sound...

Mine arrived yesterday, but it would not fit in my home mailbox, so I had go to the carrier annex in the City of Oakland at lunch today.

GOT IT! I've squirreled it away until I can attend to opening it this evening.

I just wanted to voice my thanks and congratulations to Lukas and co. for this incredibly wonderful release. I've been listening to it constantly since it arrived yesterday, and I'm enjoying it immensely. I guess my poor co-workers will just have to deal with me constantly whistling the SUPERMAN theme at work for the next couple of months, and my wife, well, I'll just say that luckily for me, she's a very loving and tolerant person. We were having a blast listening to and discussing the "extras" disc together last night, after having watched the first three of the four films over the past week or so (we'll probably watch IV tonight). Anyways, thanks again and keep up the outstanding work!
