Great stuff Brad! Did you ever do a separate cover for WINTER KILL from the HAWKINS CD? I'll definitely be using the BABE one for my iTunes library!

Great covers.

While looking for something completely different I stumbled a photobucket archive which had custom covers for all the titles in the Rozsa treasury.... except the Power so I quickly(ish) came up with the below to match the set (don't know if that person is present here or not).

Has anyone done covers for the FSM's David Raksin set ?

and since I'm posting in this thread, here are my Lord of the Rings custom set (based on someone else's custom set but created from scratch since I wanted a Rarities cover to match)

No, I didn't. I could never find any original promotional art. I've looked and looked, and there are the occasional VHS and DVD covers, but nothing really jumps out at me.

The artwork for HAWKINS and BARNABY JONES are from the covers of TV GUIDE published in conjunction with their respective premieres/seasons. Speaking of TV Guide, I also made a cover for CONTRACT ON CHERRY STREET, from an illustration by Richard Amsel. It doesn't necessarily reflect the content of the movie, but since it was the cover story for that week's issue, I went ahead and whipped up some artwork.

BABE was a theatrical release in Australia, and I used the official daybill. It was ugly, though, a black-and-white photograph that was tinted blue, so I gave it a garden-variety Photoshop pencil sketch filter treatment. It came out better than I though it would, so thanks!

In case anyone is interested, TV GUIDE has an archives section where you can view every single cover of past issues. For those of us in a certain age group, it's a huge nostalgia trip. I remember vividly many of those covers. You'll find art and drawings by Peak, Amsel, etc. It's an invaluable treasure trove. http://www.tvguidemagazine.com/archive/suboffer/page/gallery

Thx for the reply Brad - fascinating to read that you're using TV Guide artwork as one if your sources. You obviously love doing these, it shows in the quality of your work. I hope you keep posting smile

Can anyone do custom covers for a "deluxe edition of Goldsmith's Lionheart? Front and back covers, I mean?

I wish Varese would just do this. I have the original 2 CDs and the edited "symphonic epic" version, but you guys have some great chops and I'd love to see what someone could do with this, using the existing iTunes / old Volcano "deluxe" track list.

1. The Ceremony (02:49)
2. The Castle (01:26)
3. Bring Him Back (02:39)
4. Failed Knight (03:18)
5. The Circus (03:07)
6. Robert And Blanche (03:49)
7. Children In Bondage (05:02)
8. Gates Of Paris (02:04)
9. Paris Underground (04:09)
10. The Road From Paris (02:04)
11. The Banner (05:58)
12. The Dress (02:23)
13. Mathilda (05:57)
14. The Plague (05:33)
15. Forest Hunt (07:45)
16. The Lake (03:37)
17. The Wrong Flag (03:16)
18. Final Fight (03:13)
19. King Richard (08:34)

Nice work.

But Christopher Lennertz on From Russia With Love?

It is a video game score from 2005. I haven't listen to it yet, but his score to Quantum of Solace was pretty good!
