Well turns out my prediction was true about the monkey being Martin Riggs on the bike in Lethal Weapon 3! The 8CD set is Lethal Weapon 3! Confirmed on their facebook page!!!

8 CD's just for Lethal Weapon 3?! That seems a bit too much don't you think. Shame they won't release the other scores then big grin

Lmao, woops.

Re: Police Academy...

...this special limited release of 3000 units features the bonus track “El Bimbo,” performed by Jean-Marc Dompierre and His Orchestra (used in legendary fashion for the film’s Blue Oyster Bar)...

A friend of mine said he'd use this song as his ringtone if it was included. I can't wait to tell him the good news! (Ya know, priorities.) smile

Haha, it wouldn't be a Police Academy soundtrack without! smile

Damn. If it was the first Lethal Weapon, I'd buy it in a heartbeat on Tuesday. Box set's too much for me, though, especially considering how repetitive a lot of the music in the sequels is.

It's repetitive because they tracked music in from the other films. What is presented here is the score as was written and recorded for the films...tons of music NO ONE has heard until now (unless you were there when they recorded it)! smile

Just as I suspected, but everyone always tried to tell me that wasn't the case. Haha!

And I don't mean to knock the release, either. No doubt it's a terrific package. smile

If anyone is expecting a release from the '50's , you are probably going to be disappointed.

Or not!

Disc 8 could also be "Freddy vs Jason" or the 2010 remake (which never really had a physical pressed CD release to my knowledge).

Actually it did get a pressed CD over in France:
http://www.amazon.fr/Nightmare-On-Elm-Street-Bof/dp/B003GDYMR0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1385542911&sr=8-1&keywords=a+nightmare+on+elm+street+jablonsky

Though even as a Nightmare on Elm Street fan, I never bought it because of the disappointment and dull direction it took, never been too big a fan of Jablonsky.

Man, now I'm really excited about a NOES box and it's doubtful (yet still not impossible) that this will be the Black Friday announcement.

Yeah, I don't expect it will be else MV would have mentioned it being in the works, but I sure hope it's a possibility!

I'm sorry, I couldn't help it but bust up laughing! If you translate the french language on the Amazon link, it reads "A Nightmare On Elm Street (Bad)"...

Even the french didn't like the remake! razz
