Just found out that Varese is probably releasing the score after all...
YAY! They should!

It just popped up on their website. Considering the Varese credit is on both trailers as well as the posters, I'd assumed it would.
Oddly, the new trailer makes it look like a sequel to the film suggested in the first trailer.
Trailer 1 - veteran assassin Brosnan trains young protege
Trailer 2 - Brosnan has to protect Olga Kuryenko from assassins including protege.

Code named The November Man, Peter Devereaux (Pierce Brosnan) is a lethal and highly trained ex-CIA agent, who has been enjoying a quiet life in Switzerland. When Devereaux is lured out of retirement for one last mission, he must protect valuable witness, Alice Fournier, (Olga Kurylenko). He soon discovers this assignment marks him a target of his former friend and CIA protégé David Mason (Luke Bracey). With growing suspicions of a mole in the agency, there is no one Devereaux can trust, no rules and no holds barred.
Action veteran Marco Beltrami (The Wolverine, World War Z) sets the tone with a tense, driving score.

This score has a terrific conspiracy/spy-flavored main theme that occasionally plays in a jaunty and darkly propulsive manner a la the 'hero rides off into the sunset' vibes of Wolverine's "Where To?" or 3:10 to Yuma's finale (minus the western hallmarks).

The main theme gets the best workout in the score's opening track (which may or may not be the CD's opening track) called "Take Orders" which starts the main theme on acoustic guitar followed by nervous strings. Then the jaunty, propulsive main theme statement plays mainly on strings with considerable percussive support, with almost a Russian-type vibe, but definitely it gets the toes tappin'!
There is an really good 9 1/2 minute action/suspense cue "Mira Mira on da Wall" ... not sure if it will make it onto the album in its entirety (knowing Varese's tendency to edit probably not) but I love a good long cue so I hope so. One of Beltrami's longest recorded cues ever, could possibly be one of his longest CD cues!
The final(e) cue, "Ending" features another great statement of the main theme, and it works great as an espionage piece but almost sounds like it could work in a western, it again has that bouncy, jaunty flavor (forgive me, having trouble finding synonyms for jaunty) with really fun percussion and expressive strings.
I haven't seen the film, but it's such a strong main theme that I could see it being intrinsically linked to the movie and a big part of what defines it and gives it a sense of identity.
