I never imagined that knowing before hand what the upcoming releases were would be an issue. I appreciate that I know, and I see the guessing games a waste of my time.

Exactly! The guessing games are stupid.
Don't forget the pre-preanouncement of the mysterious unknown titles.

Yeah the annoucement of the announcement of the announcement!
I hope that Varese doesn't go the route they did with THE MATRIX, THE OMEN, THE FINAL CONFLICT and their release of POLTERGEIST II. Those were called "Deluxe Editions" but were all still missing some cues. Not to mention STAR TREK '09. This should be a 2-CD set if it's to have all of the music. And it would be nice to get Brent Spiner's rendition of "Blue Skies." My how time flies!

Considering Paramount's co-ordinated approach to getting these things out, I'd be surprised if it wasn't complete. But you never know.
It would need a 2-disc set. The **** barely fit one disc but it was missing some cues. Plus there are two completely different recordings of the end title (to fit the two different film endings, one has a slightly different performance of the Shinzon "bridge" section). There are also - I think - two versions of the Romulan "sins" cue. So quite a lot of material.

Fingers crossed, we'll soon find out.
oh for God's sake will someone PLEASE tell me why everyone complains about Varese MATRIX release? please!
Please, let's try to behave well. I do not like to lock threads and censor discussion. All labels and titles are valid subjects for criticism. So is this board.
Varese tends not to communicate with the fans through boards like this one, and it seems to make them subject to harsher criticism. Not saying that is fair or not, but it does seem to occur. To some extent it's just human nature: "Don't listen to me, or give the impression you listen to me, and I won't like you."
When people start to get snippy at labels, it leads to them getting snippy at each other. Sometimes people get a hold of themselves and the ship rights itself...but many other times the snotty comments just lead to more snotty comments and a board that leaves a bad taste in everyone's mouth.
So I'm happy to let these discussions continue, and criticisms continue, but I would ask people not to be jerks. OK? Just be nicer.
Oh yes I do hope its "complete". How shall my life go on if it is not. Santa will no doubt commit suicide if the cue of Goldsmith eating Cheatos is not included. The gods will weep and all the yaks in Mongolia shall become barren.
Thank you good folks at Varese for the release. However it comes.
They'll probably cut out some of the shorter cues to make it fit on one disc (unless there's a bunch of alternates, which I doubt). The complete score is just a bit over 80 minutes.
Hopefully if the right people were involved then nothing will be missing. As suggested earlier that way it would be in line with the other Trek releases (other than the D.E. for Trek 09).
It even includes a cue not on the boot (Perfect Timing). I don't think complete does this score any favors but it's good that it's out there so people can decide for themselves.
Anally retentive as I am, I couldn't help notice that "Positronic Signal" on the printed track list, has been printed incorrectly on the inlay simply as "Positronic".
They fix a track title glitch on Runaway and create a new one on Nemesis.
Guess there's a little too much traffic on the samples' player: "Cincopa user is out of traffic quota for this month. If you are the owner you can add a traffic package."
