I know this is a major issue here, AIN'T IT. Any of you have something more interesting in your lives then waste one's time on somebody not having perfect grammar.Hey why don't we start a thread listing every song sung on a film and give it a rating. Oh yes, that;s right. that might be too informative. can't do that can we?
One should respect people who are trying to expresses themselves in english when it is not their original language...
A great point, and one that I've made down the years. There are several non-native English speakers who express themselves much better than the average anglophone (if that's the right word - maybe Urs or Thor could confirm!)

And then there are those who claim they've written for Fangoria magazine.

Good grammar is certainly the most important thing in my life. Of course, that may be because I live in my parent's basement, have no friends, no job and spend all day on the computer, I'm not sure. I'm also ugly, with bad breath and dirty fingernails.

Reading his posts, it’s clear that dan the man is quite capable of writing grammatically when he chooses to. I suspect he’s putting a big effort into pretending to be semi-literate. Why? I have no idea - but I’ve long thought that his idiosyncratic writing style is a deliberate ploy to mask his true persona. I think he might be Lukas Kendall
YOR confess: he is in fact Hanzimmer pretending he is a Hanzimmer hater just to see if all the people he pay to defend him around the internet are doing their jobs!
Oh Yor, you mad wonderful fool! This made me smile!

Right on. I've said the same thing in my relatively short time here, as well. The language/cultural intolerance on display here is stunning at times. And usually from those members that try to come off as being so very intellectually or culturally advanced.
(I'll take one Yor or one Dan over TEN of those other types any day of the week.)

Why not just quietly correct it, why the huge fuss? And shouldn't it be; THAN waste one's time. My grammar is not perfect (but then I did leave school aged 15 in 1966). Reading all this, someone who tries to get it right is some friendless creep, & someone who writes like a five year old is interesting & popular.
