Whoa! Is that a hint? If LLL is taking over these physical releases from Varese that's quite a coup! And it sounds like it might potentially be a two disc set?

Don't get too excited (although, it would be nice). I just asked the question as a fan. smile

Anything missing from Season 3 that Watertower should have included?

MV

Nothing that jumps to mind right now. There was a lot of reprisal of themes and cues from Season 2 this year.

The score has been getting better and better and the series is fantastic. I agree it's sometimes challenging to keep track of all the characters but they payoffs of the various plotlines so far have been well worth the effort, and I love the performers (Sean Bean very much included). Definitely my favorite series since HBO's Rome.

I don't think I ever hated a series more than "Game of Thrones". I dislike everything about it not the least of which is the very confusing plot line. Season 3 was the final straw for me, no more "... Thrones"

I wasn't sure from the article but no physical CD release?

It's coming next month.

John Webster, you were right as it seems a physical release is on its way, at least in Europe...

How is the plot line of Game of Thrones confusing?! I know there's a lot going on, but it's not confusing in the least.

I was thinking the same thing.

If you think the show is confusing to follow, try reading the books! I had to rely heavily on Wikipedia to remember who everyone was when I read them.

The DVDs/blu-rays have a wonderful feature. In the upper right corner is a screen with a menu of 3 icons: character, setting and history. If you click on any one of them it reveal who is on screen, or where they are in Westeros, or the historoical backkground of what's going on. Illuminating!

During and after reading book 1, way before the HBO series, I too had a hell of a time remembering who the hell was who and such, including the all of the family names. It was after seeing the first season that I was finally able to connect all the dots, which of course painted a fantastic picture and is one of my favorite series ever.

Sadly the album was poorly done. Lots of crucial and good music is missing although it is the shortest of the three albums with plenty of space left.

Here a short list of the most important obmissions (SPOILERS FOR SEASON 3):

- Ending scene and end credits from episode 4 (Daenerys leaves Astapor with her army)

- The Hound and Beric Dondarrions duel at the beginning of episode 5

- Instrumental folk melody reminding of Stan's Theme from Curse of Monkey Island played at the wedding feast in episode 8 as well as on the red wedding in episode 9

- Instrumental versions of "The Bear and the Maiden Fair" played at both weddings ( episode 8 and 9)

- Cue for the first appearance of the dragons in episode 1

- Sansa's Theme (?) appearing in a bigger arrangement when she enters the Sept of Baelor in episode 8 and in various of her scenes as well when Edmure meets his bride in episode 9

- Baratheon theme when Gendry and Melisandre sail past King's Landing in episode 7

- Music for Catelyn Stark's confession in episode 2

Isn't that track 3 - 'Dracarys'?

That's only the beginning of it. The March/End Title expanded on it considerably. The absence of that one track made this CD a pass for me. Very strange decision.

It's not even the beginning. The whole ending scene and end credits music is missing. What a completely stupid decision to obmit that although there is more than 20 minutes of space left on the CD!!

The Dracarys track only consists of an alternate of the music for the actual Dracarys scene when Danys dragon burns the slave lord.
