O wow! This is awesome news. Great score for a great film, that tragic love theme is heartbreaking. Will order on pay day this Fri!

Bruce, is this going include some of the score as Waxman originally intended (which Christopher Palmer reworked in the "Scenario For Orchestra").

It's very clear which tracks are which if you look at the recording dates and who recorded what when. But yes, if you look at the track list there are some cues that are film versions and some that are the originals. Much of what's in the film are as Waxman wrote them. I go into this in the liner notes.

I should probably mention that this is selling very quickly and if it continues at this pace (hard to know if it will) it will be gone by tomorrow or Wednesday.

I would recommend to everyone who hears about this to either buy it immediately, or beg Bruce to hold a copy for you.

Because I believe this release will disappear very quickly. Which is why I bought it immediately, from SAE, which is my usual outlet.

But, buyers, beware, lest it disappear all too soon!

Ordered immediately! Any Waxman is a must-buy for me.

I think this will sell out very quickly.

A great release Bruce, please keep the golden age cds coming. smile

Bruce thanks again for releasing another truly classic score. My first introduction to the music was on Gerhardt's Waxman recording. I'm looking forward to hearing these original tracks.
Great cover art by the way.
Taylor was stunning in this movie, and the moments of close ups used during the party sequence are classic, iconic moving picture images.

God, this music is so exquisite! The clips all sound incredible. Can't wait until I get the full CD. Certainly one of the greatest scores of its era (or any era for that matter). BTW, was Taylor ever as breathtakingly beautiful as she was in this film? Bought immediately -- through SAE ('cause I wanted to pick up the expanded Patriot Games too).

The first two cover ideas I was presented weren't to my liking at all - I told our designer that he could not do better than a luscious black and white image of two of the most beautiful people ever put on Earth - then he sent the cover you see and that was that.

After reading the liner notes I got out my huge Shostakovich box and put on Symphony No 11... holy cow in the 2nd movement!

If it's not in stereo, I'm not interested!

Just kidding!

I've placed an order but there appears to be a mix up with my PayPal account so I hope the order goes through.

If you bought from us, just drop me an e-mail and I can let you know it came through okay - but if you got the "you made a payment" screen, you're fine.

I can pretty much say it won't be around after tomorrow - we're already at less than 130.
