A man in his 80's doing what he is doing, give him a break if he can't make all the concerts. I have been and so many others to performances cancelled by much younger performers. It is amazing at his age he is still able to do all he can do.

Got mine! Woo-hoo!

Finally a good reason to have an American Express card!

Hopefully, I bought ticket for the Berlin performance. So he better be there!

Same here. Let's keep our fingers crossed. This would (will!) be a dream come true... looking forward to February!

As a non-AMEX holder, I'll be there, 10am sharp on Friday morning...

I just nabbed two tickets with my AMEX. So excited! This will my be my first film composer concert in Los Angeles...its not that big of a trip from Phoenix, AZ, but every time there has been a concert I wanted to go to, there has been a schedule conflict.
I've only seen Carl Davis in person and an LOTR concert (not Shore conducting), so this is a big deal for me.
I just hope Maestro Morricone makes it to LA this time.

Of course, I move out of the NYC area just in time to miss it. CARAMBA!

Had to call Amex to figure it out - but have a prime seat....I hope dear Ennio remains in good health! My Birthday is in March so this is my gift to me!

Having bought my Amex tickets I suggest going to the LA ticket site right now.

I got my tickets this morning. So happy! I haven't seen Ennio in concert since I saw him at the Albert Hall in London in 2004.

Well, it seems that all the Amex-card holders and ticket agencies have bought up all the really good seats. I'm not paying over a thousand dollars for three obstructed view seats in the pit, or over six hundred dollars for three crappy all the way back orchestra tickets. I bought prime seats at the Hollywood Bowl last time, only to have Morricone prove to be a no-show over (reportedly) not selling enough tickets in the first place. When a Morricone ticket goes for more than a Thom Yorke ticket, there's something wrong with the pricing. Guess I'll just stay home and enjoy my several hundred Morricone CDs.

I checked yesterday, looks like the cheap tickets are all gone.

Against my better judgement I bought a ticket to the NY performance. I do think for the price they want people to pay that Barlcays Center cut in half is a rather lousy venue.

For those who need reassurance Morricone will be feeling up for his American concert dates, here he is yesterday:
