I think there is much alternate music for this.
If it services ( it certainly is NOT among the Paramount tracks), it would be on Bernsteins private tapes.

One thing Elmer did mentin to me is music for the longer version of the Exodus.
I think the current scene is now around 16 minutes in the film.

Originally it ran over half an hour !!!!

No scoring for the frogs.
That scene was shot with Anne Baxter and a lot of windup mechanical frogs.
It was so bad that Baxter laughed her way through the entire scene. Never redone, because it just didn't work.

Really, Thanksgiving? If that is so then thank Jehovah! I've stopped myself many times from getting on the board and trying, in my own small insignificant way, to goose the powers that be and persuade them to get it out for us already. Perhaps the time has come and that is really exciting. I JUST CAN'T WAIT!

I dunno, I think there are more... appropriate... holidays to link this potential release to.

So Joe,

what do you think?
Are the coming holidays appropriate ... enough ... for this very special release? wink

I mean now that April the 1st has safely passed (yet again) wouldn't it be a righteous act to finally announce it this very Tuesday? smile

We WILL have it by Christmas! The question remains, Christmas of what year.

Well, Passover is coming up on April 16 and not a whisper, but I'm not holding my breath for this anymore. I did hear a rumor that they might release it around Christmas in 2056, in time for the film's 100 year anniversary. Of course, we'll all pretty much be dead by then.

I just hope your epic battle of releasing this monumental score will be discussed in detail in your liner notes. wink

Keep up the good work!

See you next Easter then .. I guess?
