So, Bruce, you did this again.
Interesting covers, fantastic samples...
And now I run to Intrada's store and making new order! big grin
Now I wait for two out-of-stock CDs from them (another is Dressed to Kill)

Hope that sales are going well?

It's moving VERY quickly.

Thanks ! - any Grusin is almost a must buy

how's that some bing-bang cues are within the Grusin score and some not?

coincidentally, yesterday I was listening a Memphis Stomp piano cover on youtube (amazing clip and player!)

Bruce, thank you for producing this CD. I have ordered it through SAE. I own a lot of Dave Grusin's music and look forward to listening to these two scores.

I have a question (just out of curiosity): When you were producing this CD, would you get Dave Grusin involved in the process at any stage? Even if it is just to have a look at the finished CD before you offer it publicly?

If he doesn't get involved, would you send him the finished CD?

I would think he would be happy for more of his scores to be available for people to enjoy.

Mr. Grusin has contacted me before, when we did Mulholland Falls, Divorce, American Style and A Dry White Season. I wrote him an e-mail a couple of weeks ago about this release, but no, he's not really involved other than as composer. I believe he's out touring, so I haven't heard back from him.

Wow!!!!! Grusin's "Heaven Can Wait" has been a Holy Grail for me for decades! I even recorded the audio off the DVD of the final scene between Warren Beatty and Julie Christie, which culminates in the longest and most developed version of the principal theme, and like to listen to it on my iPod. Plus Grusin's plays it on his "Cinemagic" CD from many years ago. Just ordered it and can't wait to get it!!!

Wow! Bruce, you really expect such stir for this?
If yes - you're rather wise producer, who knows that and when people wants smile

Re: Less than 150 left.

Oh, it'll definitely sell out! Too many people have been wanting it all these years! And it's such a delightful movie as well! Dyan Cannon is just hysterical, and love the chemistry between Warren Beatty and Julie Christie! And that music, oh that music!!! Can't wait!

Yes, I thought it would take longer - we'll see how long it takes to sell the final ninety or so before we sell this puppy out.
