Yippee!

To quote Pollyanna:

“... there is something about everything that you can be glad about, if you keep hunting long enough to find it.”
Eleanor H. Porter, Pollyanna

I was going to quote Mother Theresa too but didn't want to come off disrespectful. I'll just paraphrase her instead:

"Thank you Jesus!"

Christmas is coming early this year!

Cocoon was one of the first CDs I bought in the eighties. I'll certainly buy an expanded edition. I'll need to hear some samples for Red October.

It seems like an alternate universe when "Cocoon" on CD sat in an actual physical store in stacks in a stamped plastic long box.

Great to have this back again...hopefully with some of those great big band numbers!

Holy shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit

Wonder why Intrada started posting titles ahead of the release dates. It can't be just to troll Bruce wink

ETA: Fans in the know, what else would be on COCOON? To my memory all the big moments made it to the album.

Great releases! How much music is missing from these two scores? Are they likely to be 1 or 2 diskers?

Chris.

There's a bit of music missing from Red October. However, with the boot it's easily 1 CD it MAYBE 2 depending on if there's never unheard stuff IE: BTTF but just gotta wait and see.

Cocoon? Sweet Jeebies! I've been hoping for that for a long time, finally it can complement Cocoon The Return. I wonder how complete it is.

As to HfRO, I don't remember the score at all & haven't seen the movie in 15+ years. I do remember a friend being very enthralled and playing it constantly at UNI.

What great news! Especially excited to hear Red October remastered and expanded! I'm wondering how much new music in on the Cocoon release. I have the original CD, but I'm very curious about the new material on this one...

As I post at intrada's forum, I just finished with opening track from Red October (thanks to YouTube!).
I never laugh so much big grin
Lyrics are real nightmare - especially in the way, how it was transcribed.
hmoora = gloomily, and it would be more correct to pronounce hmoorO (by the way, it's the most common mistake in whole lyrics)
Do svidonia, byehreg rodnoy - we don't say so! Most correct variant will be Do svidonia, rodnoy byehreg.
But most rude mistake is here: nass val nahmarskaya zhdyot nyehdazh dyotsyah.
Correct variant will be: nass valnah marskaya zhdyot nyehdazhdyotsyah. So 1 word was transcript as two, two as one etc. And that's made this hymn little difficult to me - I still don't understand what Eemruchnoh v'doosheh means!
But music is great, so one day this will be first Basil score in my collection!
