I doubt Uncle Vic at this point is interested in hearing from members from this board..(Ohhhfffahh!) I suspect he's more interested in seeing to it that his spokewheeled gold hubcaps stay intact in AC on his late model Cadillac while he plays his version of an elderly Dean Martin in the casinos..God Bless America!

Actually, Vic recently celebrated 50 years of wedded bliss in a classic Italian restaurant in (where else?) West Orange. He and his lovely bride danced to "Always". The bride wore a beautiful silver pantsuit, and the groom matched his Gucci shoes to his shirt (what should change in 50 years?). The plates of calamari, meatballs, eggplant rollitini, Calandra rolls, and pasta fagioli were flying around the tables.

Thanks, I will. I'll tell 'em "The Blue Mule sent me". Perhaps I will receive a free spumoni?

For those few wishing to see a recent photo of Vic, just find a photo on the net of Roy Schieder taken in the last couple of years. The two are rumored to be brothers.

Sadly, those two it seems are the "end of an era" in our family as an aging couple in being alive, healthy, together, and finishing out their years with all their faculties..It had to be at the "7 Hills" ! No?

Vic has taken to swigging Geritol with his minestrone. Still in good health.

Uncle Vic passed away on Christmas Eve last week. Nobody told me until the day after the funeral. Needless to say, I was not happy about that. He was the last brother of dad - child 12 of 13.

I am thinking about you Uncle Vic.

I cannot even begin to parse
That warm and squishy feeling in your arse
When salmon collides with foo young
But after the beetles have spread their dung
A Trip to the hospital seems all but sure
Your belly's sounds are anything but pure
Some Imodium awaits with expected ingestion
Too much cheese and all of that indigestion
Some sassafras and chutney set with stones
With Scrod and capers and hopefully no bones
A waste of the taste of fig newton paste
As I write this absurdity in complete haste.

The franks and beans and beans and franks
My or my, how awful are those Yanks
Rivera, Stanton, Guidry, and Righetti
All sitting down while eating too much spaghetti

Carbone, Corleone, Saluzzo, and Soprano
What nincompoop is banging at the piano
A frog, a lizard, a turtle, and an iguana
Who of the lot is high on marijuana?

Frank Converse, Frank Whaley, Frank De Kova, and Frank Burns
A few of these icons are in urns
A freebie, a freeway, a freebase, a free lunch
With bad or no teeth there is no crunch

The smell of a prune wafting in your belly
Seems less a proposition than peanut butter and jelly
Hugo Montengro, Hugo Weaving, and Hugo Boss
All have that bravado of twisted moss

Rectal Itch and Cranial twitch
Both seem to really be a bitch
A wanker, cranker, yanker, and spanker
Could life be any danker?

Frank Converse is now 85 years old.

In his younger days he always reminded me of JFK.
