3. ANOES 3: Dream Warriors- This may seem like an odd addition seeing as there was A Nightmare On Elm Street 4. However, the concept of the "Dream Warriors" never continued. This always surprised me a bit as it seems like the natural progression of the story. Instead, they were all killed off at the beginning of part 4 and no new ones ever arose. Just a pet peeve of mine. I think when they are going to do the next Earle Haley installment, they will probably go the "dream warriors" route as they obviously can't do an Elm Street movie without copying the existing Englund movies. The remake re-used lots of 'killing' ideas not only from the original, but also from its sequels. However, the dream warriors concept allowed the dream sequences to be imaginative from the dreamer's point of view rather than always having Freddy come up with the nightmare. It's more interesting to see the dreamer have powers as well which poses a challenge for Freddy rather than just have them run around like veal in the dreamworld. Which is basically parts 4,5,6 and this wore out. See, this is what I have been saying for years. When you follow Freddy, it's just lather, rinse, repeat. If you follow the Dream Warriors, the story can be anything you want it to be simply with Freddy as the reoccuring antagonist. In the wonderful documentary "Never Sleep Again" they discuss the script written by Peter Jackson which would have been part 5 if made. The Jackson concept seemed like a natural extension of the Dream Warriors story and I believe would have made a fantastic film. At least it would have been something different.

I agree with most of what was written here, especially Buckaroo Banzai, a third Tim Burton Batman film, and another Master and Commander. For now, I'm ambivalent about a third Ghostbusters. I have a few I'd like to see: -more Horatio Hornblower TV miniseries with Ioan Gruffudd and Robert Lindsay (with Mr. Matthews, Mr. Styles, and Lt. Bush along for the ride!) -another Tango and Cash (Stallone would probably do it, too) -the first film was meh but I'd like to see another Steve Carrell Get Smart film, but replace Anne Hathaway with Catherine Bell and hire Sledge Hammer! creator Alan Spencer to write it -I'm gonna regret this but I'd like to see a true sequel to the Blues Brothers, as envisioned by Dan Aykroyd and without the studio bureaucracy mucking things up (Landis has said that they were forced to keep it PG-13, shoot in Toronto, include a kid, etc.)

More JURASSIC PARK, dammit! I absolutely love those movies, and it's way too long since the third film. And ALIEN, obviously, but we are thankfully getting that in a little while. YES, with both Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neill. And without any acrobatic kiddies. Rated R, or at least a very hard PG. ALIEN... my fingers are crossed. Btw, having seen and thoroughly enjoyed Centurion, I would certainly say Michael Fassbender would be a good cast addition. Also, adult Star Wars films...
