In 1973, Ansara starred in the action film THE DOLL SQUAD, also known as SEDUCE AND DESTROY. It's rumored that the film was in part an inspiration for the television show "Charlie's Angels."

In 1974, Ansara co-starred in this film for Walt Disney. He played an Indian.

Just saw him in The Golden Hawk (1952) and had a 'is that who I think it is' moment. Now this news.

He also played an arab antagonist for Mostafa Akkad's THE MESSAGE. The film was scored by Maurice Jarre which won an Oscar nomination.

The only role I knew him for was as Mr. Freeze on Batman: The Animated Series and its various spin-offs.

He always did a fantastic job making Freeze menacing while never losing sight of his humanity.

One of my favourite actors. As another said though, a good long age.
