We've been listening to Leonard Bernstein/NYP's recordings of these two works (1960/61), the first narrated by Bernstein, the second by Master Henry Chapin. Both are part of the massive (80 CD) collection I bought in November ... we're still working our way through the set!

I don't buy many CD's these days because I mostly have everything I want (that's the big problem for CD's, once you have it & take care of it, there's no need to buy it again). I bought A three disc set from Japan of Ingrid Haebler playing piano concertos by J.C. Bach (I had the Philips LP box back in the seventies), & I'm a big Steely Dan fan, & finally got around to buying Donald Fagen's first solo album, The Night Fly. I love half of it & I'm sure I'll end up loving the other half, & will be buying the other two, Kamakiriad & Morph The Cat.

First listen to new Pet Shop Boys CD 'SUPER'. Like what I hear.
I will get to Super eventually. PSB usually have some great tracks on every album, but also some tunes that are hard to get through. Would love to see them work with Stephen Hague or Trevor Horn again.
